Just like me, I have a ton of crowns just sitting around, and they wont allow me to purchase the expansion with money ive already given them.
I get the company wants new money for the expansion but...
Anyone with crowns in their account has basically pre-ordered it by spending that money, and you wont allow us to get it.

As ESO+ that's a risk you take, getting crowns and never having anything you might want end up in the crown store. To look at the crying of some of the ESO+ members a few months ago, they wouldn't be spending crowns on it anyway, they wanted it included.

✭✭✭✭✭Plenty of other things around or coming along that you can spend crowns on, including not least the housing in Vvardenfell or an extra couple of character slots for wardens if and when you do buy Morrowind. And no, I don't mean crates!
If the crowns were accumulated from subscribing with a view to using them to buy new content through DLCs then I can understand the separate pricing of Morrowind as being an issue. On the other hand, if they were bought separately then they can be used for other things and buying Morrowind with cash rather than the crowns that were themselves bought with cash isn't perhaps such a big issue.
Either way, Morrowind to me is well worth getting and I have no regrets - having bought the physical collector's edition on one account and the digital upgrade on the other one.1 -

✭After Z0$ stance on Chapter i doubt they will add it for crowns when it wasn't first purchasable by crowns. If they did i wouldn't be surprised though because Z0$ keep making mistake after mistake.
I always thought. Can you get crowns from any other way than paying RL money for them?. If the answer is no then the player should be able to use them on anything ESO related. Restricting this is simply dumb and inefficient.0 -

Sure, there are always exceptions. I have always had ESO+ and I bought the DLCs too.

I do not think they will. That ship has sailed. ESO+ members are suppose to get free access to all new content available in the crown store. Not putting Morrowind in the crown store is what allowed them to claim it was something different from the other DLC ESO+ gets for subscribing. ESO+ members who bought Morrowind are going to be a tad bit grumpy if it is eventually released in the crown store.and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."3 -

This offers a great reason Morrowind was. It sold for crowns. Many stock up on crowns which means the expansion would have been discounted for them.
Has nothing to do sigh new money and everything to do with Zos wanting full price for Morrowind.

I think it really depends on whether they're willing for folks to pay crowns for future chapters. Once they establish a precedent of "those who wait will get to pay with crowns," lots of folks will choose to wait. I was open to a different financial model for chapters, assuming that chapters were expansions, not just slightly larger DLCs, but what they delivered doesn't really qualify in my opinion. Not enough folks to chat up, too many structures you can't enter, etc., so I agree that we should have been able to pay with crowns.

So true. However, not enough people can get together and cooperate to pull off this strategy. There are always whales who just HAVE to have everything.I am not spending a single penny on the game until changes are made to the game that I want to see.
1) Remove having to be in a guild to sell items to other players at a kiosk.
2) Cosmetic modding for armor and clothing.
3) Difficulty slider.
4) Fully customizable player housing that isn't tied to anything in the game other than having the correct resources and enough gold to build. Don't tie it to PvP, guild membership, or anything at all. Oh, make it instanced so as not to take up world map space, too. Zeni screwed this one up already.
Any /one/ of these things implemented would get me spending again, maybe even subbing.5 -

If they add it to the cs then I can see them having a huge backlash by those of us who bought it. Just because they name it a chapter wouldn't help either, because in the ture sense of downloadable content it would fall under eso plus.

Yeah I purchased it, because I wanted to see what was up with Morrowind as done in ESO. Not sorry.
I will say that my reaction has been to fire up Morrowind, troll through Nexus Mod manager and spend the last few weeks playing TES III.Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.***Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis1
