Zenimax - Please consider removing the annoying LOUD Warden pet summon sound

I'd like to make a suggestion that you consider removing the loud sound a warden bear pet makes EVERY SINGLE TIME a warden enters an area. Not only is it distracting but it's WAY too loud. It sounds like an explosion or something. Things like this seem good on paper but when you're actually a player and you have to hear it all the time in or near cities, it gets very tedious.

    think about the energy it take for a bear that size to enter the world, have to make some noise.

    if anything I rather them tone down the beam from the netchs.. I feel like I have a big laser beam on me saying kill this player when its up.

    When standing next to mournhold wayshrine though. All is quiet then bwwwwwwwaaaaaaaa. Then there is the multi warden spawn. Bwaaaaabwaaaaabwaaa. :|

    Yeah it's not a BIG deal but little things like this can go by unnoticed by devs that don't actively play on live servers with 1000's of other people. It'd just be nice is all.

    P.S. - More in game options to toggle things on and off would be great...without the need of addons. Like the guild sounds for example. The less need for addons, the better in my book.

    I agree 110% . I can't see a damned thing with the green glow around me and the laser beam from Hell following me around.

    Actually, its not like I am summoning it at all. I am NOT a warden.

    EVERY WARDEN, with the thing on permasummon, summons that thing at each.. wayshrine, door, and login. Most of the time.. the loud roar and pet appears before the player, just like the cosmetic pets. The entrance to Outlaws Refuge in Vivec is particularly bad, as you can have 10 warden summons before you can get away from the door.
    Power level to CP160 in a week:
    Where is the end game? You just played it.
    Why don't I have 300+ skill points? Because you skipped content along the way.
    Where is new content? Sigh.

    For real. I just ran through a delve with a couple of low-level players, and if they got in front of me I was just firing and hoping because I couldn't see a damned thing for half of my screen but the glow of Blue Betty.

    Please make smaller and MUCH LESS GLOW.

    While youre at it, please remove the animation your toon does when your bear gets killed and you start doing that stupid looking summoning animation. Its so annoying in the middle of pvp .

    They're not going to do anything to make Wardens less conspicuous.

    The issue with the Netch blocking the player's view / vision was brought up during beta ... my suggestion was to make Netch translucent (like 50% see-through). Personally, I think this particular issue with Netch was more of a 'quality of life' issue, and as such, was given a low priority (as opposed to broken / semi-broken mechanics which obviously were given a higher priority) ... at least at that time.

    I second this motion. I don't want to run a bear pet because it would just be annoying to the players around me.

    Also would be great if the bear would heal the first time you lay a heal on it...instead of the second heal EVERY TIME.

    It's solid enough for its fat head to get in way of my looting so why won't the first heal hit the damn thing.

    I'd have thought the Dwarven Spider mount summoning noise was more irritating but yes, ZoS need to think about things like this that happen tens of times a gaming session or maybe even more.

    Hate to be that guy but… I haven't noticed.

    Sorcs bursting into their lightninng form just to run between merchants is way way way more annoying. And streak making my screen violently zoom in UGH don't get me started.

    I find the sound effect pretty badass, but indeed too much loud. Standing by a way shrine, in any city and frequented area for few sec, is a real pain. Even just a Warden happening to login on with the bear next to you is already a pain.

    Some simple audio settings for such effects would do the trick, like suggested in previous threads. But well... is that too a basic feature left for addons ?

    You kidding me? I want that sound when I enter the house in real life! Love it!

    Also love the incantation my warden does when summoning a bear. I wish every spell with cast time had an incantation! It sounds badass and the animation is superb!

    I do agree about Betty. Not the fact I'm a walking target but that laser beam is just facepalm! Can we not have the laser at least bend and twist and maybe be a little thinner? Or just remove the laser all together? Betty is a staple of every warden but it looks ugly as hell! :neutral:

    Im sure people here get more pathetic everyday. Why does everything have to be changed for special little snowflakes to the detriment of those who like it how it is, or don't even come to the forums - yet have to suffer at the hands of your whinging and nonsense in game.

    The first they notice, is when its changed - and often, as with the past, they hate the change and leave.

    Its fine as it is. I haven't seen a single complaint about it in area's full of wardens at prime (and EU has a pretty chatty community at times).

    Consider mine a vote to leave it as it is. The cry baby forum attitude is really starting to try my patience. Nerf, nerf, nerf, nerf. Change, change, change, change. I don't like it, Im a special snowflake carebear!

    Oh please. Expend the effort to change your own volume if you don't like it. Game is already full of useless sets, neutered abilities and baffling balance adjustments purely to appease the selfish, or those to lazy to learn to play. Yawn.

    It is a bit loud and startling, compared to other sounds, and it is surprising how often it gets used.

    Some of the mounts also has way too loud sounds when summoned, absolutely hate it.

    But that's ZOS problem because we lose our pet almost every time when we enter/leave a delve/dungeon/wayshrine.

    This is the only MMO I have ever played where this happens. Probably because it's cheaper to force the player to bring his pet back than write the extra code to keep it alive between scenery changes.

    And let's not even raise the issue of going into a delve/dungeon where there is barely enough room for the player to walk around, because your pet will be inside a wall. Have fun bringing him back to attack an enemy.

    And another thing, why is it that when your pet kills something, he disappears and suddenly is behind you (and this also doesn't help in a small area because, again, your pet is inside a wall because of that transition).

    I just wish the bear wasn't always in the damn way. He should despawn when inside non-hostile buildings/structures. Sometimes I'll be stealing from a store, watching the shopkeepers, and the bear will just walk his big ass right in front of me so I can't see the NPCs. I have to remove him from the Ult slot just so he'll go away.
