There has been max stat + regen food in game for well over a year. Last year they added more with max health,magika and magika regen and a stamina counterpart.

Read the descriptions carefully. It increases the regen RATE. Someone needs to test this but it seems like an entirely new effect.

Except the 'flavor' text for these food describes an effect that is completely different from the one noted in the statistic portion of the item. Even so, there is a non-money alternative to scrolls.

You should probably wait for proper testing before calling anyone absurd.
This may seem like small peanuts to you, and it is. It is small peanuts, this time.
This is all about having boundaries and not crossing them. This is about zenimax perhaps trying to establish precedents from which to expand upon. If it is indeed a typo, fine. I'm sorry for raising the alarm. But, to be honest, at this point I do not trust zenimax to stay on their side of the line that THEY drew.
