Yep my latency has increased by about 100 since morrowind launch (280 ->400). Still playable...just, if I don't PvP and move out of the red circles before they form.
Perth, Aus, PC-NA

I'm from Perth as well and my ping is around the same, I love pvp in games and prefer my usual ping on games which is 70. This ping is really annoying to play the game on, which is why I spent maybe 5 hours on it then just dropped it due to the annoying spikes and pvp troubles.

You usually get 70 latency from Perth to a US server?
I'm calling BS on this.

1. No Australian servers
2. For every person I know who is Australian and played the game they said it's unplayable
3. The ping is over 400

True that. He wouldn't get 70 ping to Sydney or Melbourne, let alone anywhere OS. Or does Perth have a secret stash of mirror servers for all these games that nobody else knows about?Darth_Trumpious wrote: »Yep my latency has increased by about 100 since morrowind launch (280 ->400). I stopped reading when I saw "every person I know who is Australian and played the game they said it's unplayable" and "My ping is 70 from Perth"
No, it's not obvious. 300-400 ping is more common when trying to play on a European server, whether for ESO, AW, WoT or whatever. Around 250-300 is more common for NA servers, and under 200 for SEA servers.hmsdragonfly wrote: »TheRealPotoroo wrote: »I suspect the game is laggier because of the influx of new players brought by the expansion. Because there's no Asian server, your ping will be like 300-400, isn't it obvious?
