Can't log in/Can't get to character select screen

So i've heard about this fiasco with players having their accounts suspended but that hasn't happened to me. When I log on the website my account is still active and i've had no email. It just hangs on a loading screen for 10 minutes then tells me I timed out from the server due to inactivity.
Anyone else had this problem. The game was working for me up until Mondays maintenance and ever since then has not worked.

I haven't seen this after the recent slot but I've had this before, after a maintainence slot and found I had to use the repair function which fixed the issue

Try clearing your cashe; seemed to work for me. Let us know if it works.
