Nope.
The very best items in the game should be only available to the people who can complete the tasks to do them.

I would love to see it happen, especially as this allows more gold to move around the game and gives players who might not have the guilds or friends to do trials on a regular basis a chance to get sets for things like dungeons or vMSA.
However they need to find a system which still keeps the carrot dangling for those to do the content as well as as stopping sets overflooding the market.
I would love to know what the going price for a Sharpened Maelstrom weapon would be though.

You don't need special sets to complete VMA. I completed it my first time with Twice Born Star (A craftable set), Willpower Jewelry (literally you can buy cheap these days or free), Skoria and random staves. That's also what I wore in Vet trials until I could get better sets and ran Vet dungeons all the time with that setup.
It took me a month to complete VMA but it was all about learning mechanics. If you take that away you take away the satisfaction you get when completing it. I never thought I could complete VMA but one day I dedicated myself to beating it and even though I cried a lot and wanted to give up, I didn't.
This is the same feeling you get when completing Vet trials and more. I cried so hard when I finally beat VMOL after months in there and got my skin. I am the biggest introvert and full of anxiety but I found guilds and friends and completed VMOL and got Emperor because of them. Some of the Bind on Pickups should stay that way with harder content. People who completed that deserve those weapons and shouldn't be bought. I already scoff at people who pay 3Mill for a carry for the Maw Skin.
As for the original post:
I totally understand the frustration but they shouldn't get rid of BoP. Maybe change the chances a little bit in a favorable manner but not get rid of it completely. I am already glad they let us trade BoP with people in our group because that has helped us farm faster but I have spent so many hours farming still for new sets.

Then ZOS nerfs bsw. So alcast makes a netch build. So now I get to spend the next two months farming dark shades. Because if you want to run end game content on a regular basis, you need to run with endgame guilds. And if you want to run with them then you are required to have BIS gear.
Of course I also like to pvp and with no cp I need regen gear. so I also need to farm CoH for litch. But is that better than plasm since I have no stam regen either? Guess I'll have to farm mazzatun too just to find out.
So all I "want" to do is pvp and trials. Maybe play some vvardenfel. All I "get" to do is farm the same crappy dungeonsover and over and over again for the gear.
I would love BoP to drop and i would like to be able to buy all game weapons from Mournhold's merchant at affrotable price,s lower than 268 g each pieces.... while being at asking for easy to get stuff. So first time i start a new toon he gets already end game gear so i can kick lvl 3 mobs asses so much.
