1) Crafted Sets
2p: Increase defence against mob/bosses by X (x being a great amount for PvE defence)
3p: increase WD/SD against mob/bosses by X (x being a great amount of damage against PvE)
4p:increase WD/SD against mob/bosses by X (i want to make this set unusable for PvP)
5p: increase your Stamina/magika regen by 700 (a good amount of regen would help with the recent changes. Having high regen with these sets in PvE is good while having lower regen thanks to ZoS changes is good for PvP)
2)Dropped PvE sets
Basically same idea, better stats and even UNIQUE looks in order to reward those people that do well in PvE. (for example personally I haven't finished vMA but I don't mind that others have better weapons than me. They deserve them. I would like those items to reflect that achievement for those PvErs).
These sets even though they would give good regen, they cannot be used in PvP because 2p 3p and 4p bonuses affect only PvE defence/damage.
I would also suggest that PvE mob/bosses get more stats on HP def atk. Our new sets would balance things out, while creating a major gap between PvE and PvP
PvE is rather simple in Eso. Some end game mechanics are challenging but nothing terrifying.
Dps people tend to min/max in order to get top damage output. Tanks go tanky and healers heal. I'm trying to make a simple change with these sets to separate the means in which you can be competitive in PvE (I would love it if these changes helped people play as they like, lets say instead of DW/MEDIUM armor for stamDPS go bow/bow archer person) from being competitive in Cyrodiil.
Sword-singer increases 2H dmg, Red Mountain works with DW etc. Add those in your PvE setup and you can play as you like. Still DW/BOW stamDK will be the best stam dps.
If Zos would consider something as simple as that, I am sure that there would be nothing to divide PvErs from PvPers. Less animosity between the two groups is needed if we want to make the game better for all of us.
Now. If we were to fix PvE and isolate it with such gear sets, since PvE is simple, we could easily focus on the problems in PvP, and make changes without affecting PvErs.
Such changes could be:
To broken sets.
To broken skills.
To neglected stats.
To variety in builds.
If you agree add your idea.
If you disagree tell us why and propose a fix.
