How long is the internal Cooldown? 1 second, or the two seconds mentioned in the tooltip? Thanks in advance for any insight into this.

DeHei✭✭✭✭✭nope, there isnt a cooldown. You can procc it for example 3 times in 1 second.. Its very good for warden.. Since force pulse has guaranteed chain due to winters revenge, the proc rate of winterborn is crazy from the combination of force pulse ice damage + winter's revenge ice damage.
Furthermore, since Wardens have plenty of DoTs, Valkyn goes off every 6 seconds as well.
Between the two, it's a constant flurry of ice blasts and meteors flying about. Let's keep this our little thread secret.

Ilambris doesn't really do enough damage for a Warden to justify its' use like a sorc would imo. I already tried it and I wasn't a fan of it, plus it dipped my dps by 1k compared to Valkyn. (Keep in mind, I'm also a Dunmer) .
With my set up I've achieved the fabled 30k dps everyone keeps harping on about Wardens not being able to achieve. I'd post parses and a complete build , but I'd rather not let everyone in on it.

I tried building a hybrid warden utilizing this, but it didn't really work. If I did go this route, I would run around with 2h, frost staff (preferably Ice furnace), 3 ice furnace jewelry, and Pelinial armor (with 1 heavy IF chest), and then molag kena shoulder or helm. Unfortunately, you won't have the winterborn set to go with this...Gan Xing - Crafting Nightblade
