Who Uses XP Boosts?

Hello everyone.

Recently, like only a few days ago. There was a poll asking how long it takes us to lvl from 1-50. The answer some gave that they can do it within 3 days really surprised me.
So Im just curios about this.

How many use an XP scroll?
How many use XP scrolls and training gear? (Training gear= Increases experience gained from kills by 7-11%.)
And lastly, how many use no XP boost at all?

I know what some might say. "Enjoy the game, no rush."
And yeah that´s very true. ESO is a really great game. But when you have already enjoyed the game and listened to all quest dialogue 3 times earlier with other characters you kinda just skip it. Gets a bit tedious the 4th time.

Personally I just want to lvl my characters. Which is why Im guilty of using XP scroll and some training gear.
Has anyone else accepted Meridia´s gift of XP boost?

I don't enjoy grinding, so if I'm going to do it, I'm going to do it as quickly as possible. B)

All of the quests and everything else plays just fine at vet levels with all my skills unlocked, and I don't have to keep replacing my gear.
Classes that don't need any class ability nerfs: Nightblades, Dragonknights, Sorcs, Templars, Wardens.

Wow, when did training gear become an XP increase? I thought it just helped level up your skill in either the armor or weapon you had it on? Like, your two handed or medium armor would go up faster but not necessarily your character's xp.

    Training Gear
I tend to use training dropped gear while questing. Combat is pretty easy with 530 CP, so there is no need for any other trait. I don't grind CP or levels, but there is no point in sacrificing XP for more power when the content doesn't require more power. No point in food or pots either.

I do have 2 training scrolls from Morrowind pre-order, but who knows if I ever use them. I also have some of the Ambrosia stuff, but I usually just sell them. I'm not sure why I haven't sold all my perfect roe. Probably long missed peak price, but maybe they are up again due to new Wardens.

Been a while. It only increases the XP for kills. It has no effect on quest turn-ins.

    No XP boost at all.
mostly because my playstyle is scattered, which ends up wasting xp boosts. I HAVE used them during double xp events when I ventured into dolmen grinds a little, but.. other then that.. on one hand I totally get wanting to get to max level and then enjoy the overworld questing without needing to keep upgrading gear, etc. on the other hand I just... get so bored trying to get there via grinding that I just.. quest as is, wearing whatever I get as rewards/delve drops.

I would use XP scrolls if I could find an efficient way to use them that does not involve boring grinding.
I am assuming that the only way to use XP scrolls is to grind mobs over and over again like skyreach or dolmens and those are just too boring for me.
I tried using an XP scroll while questing, but this was terrible. It takes up too much time riding back and forth to complete whatever task you have to do and then there are those quests that have multiple steps with lots of talking and no XP till the very end. It seems like questing is waste of an XP scroll. The scroll wears off before you can get a good boost because it takes so long to do quests.
So I end up never using XP scrolls even though I would.

    Training Gear + XP Scrolls
With the one character I levelled through grinding, I used Psijic Ambrosias + purple training gear + xp bonus from subscription. Not peak efficiency, but it was as good as it was gonna get without spending extra money on a pledge of mara and finding a friend

Though for most new characters I only kit them with some early training armor to get out of the lvl4-15 dredge of only one bar and very few skills. I never really feel attached to a character I've grinded up.

    Use XP Scroll
Don't use training armor as it degrades really fast and costs based on your exp gain rate. IF your using exp Scrolls.

Now it's fast tho so if it's speed. Go all exp scroll and training and grind public dungeon or Cyrodil delve.

Leveled from 4-50 in 2 hours and 4 minutes using 4 Mythic Aetherial Ambrosia pots, full purple training gear and a guy who knew how to grind the spellcaster area in Craglorn. Helped that no one else was grinding there.

    Training Gear
I was all ready with XP scrolls and ambrosia for my Warden ... and then quickly realized that I can't gain skill points fast enough to match the maximum grind rate.

Still have training gear on, but the experience has been much more evenly distributed. I actually have skill points to allocate to new passives, abilities, and morphs.

Just my playstyle is all. Other players can (and do) make straight grinding work for them.

    Dont Use XP Scroll
I *have* used xp scrolls, because every now and then when I buy some kind of set online (like the collectors set for an expansion) they give you like 5 or 10 of them - I don't want them, and I've never paid for one exclusively, but I *have* used them.

even when I got them for free, however, I never used them before one tamriel - I *hate* outleveling content, and while I have some issues with one tamriel (I kinda liked the divided storylines from a single-player point of view), it was a HUGE relief to have all content leveled to cp160 just so I never have to worry about out leveling content - which is why I feel free to use the freebie xp scrolls I do get

I've always subscribed, but never for the xp bonus - so much so, in fact, that I usually forget you get an xp bonus for subbing until someone brings it up

I enjoy the single player experience, and my main always listens to the entirety of quest dialogue - my alts, however, usually read the dialogue at most, or skip it entirely if I happen to remember it quite clearly. but I still level my alts mostly by questing, and doing dungeons with my guilds - I've always had an aversion to power leveling - I just don't have any particular *need* to push my characters to max level, not even my alts - it's always a convenience/different-experience kinda thing for me

    No XP boost at all.
Skills max out ridiculously quickly (and though I've used a skill for an additional 3 years, I can apparently NEVER get better at it, only worse through nerfs--very immersive, that), so I find training gear to be unnecessary. Leveling is fast enough, especially in the Champion ranks with enlightenment.

That said, I might take advantage of the XP boosts provided by events to level an alt through the barren gear wasteland of 1-50.

I have a scroll and 2 potions in my bank.

I plan on using them to grind some CP once I hit vet on my Warden, but this far I have never used any XP boosts other than event ones (jester pie, aniversary cake and winter beer).

Training gear, overland is so easy you don't need any other boosts and I can just make it myself.
Used one scroll I got with Morrowind in an public dungeon I spent an hour in.
Psijic Ambrosias has an decent price, can it be combined with the xp scroll?
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

All my alts I level came with the many double XP events. During bthose events in used training and xp drinks/scrolls and I leveled fast. Just made alts just in case I want to play them sometime in the future. Only play two characters healer and tank . None of the Alta I created during the event.

    No XP boost at all.
I'm in no rush to level. I did use the Cake holiday buff a few times (not really consistently, but I've never gone out of my way to equip training gear or use a scroll/ambrosia/etc.

I think I've played about.... 5?... months total, I've got two lv50's, four other characters in the 10-20's range, and ~200-250 CP. I think.
