Warden Ganking - Time Bomb

While starting to level my mag warden (who'll be taking up the mantle of ice mage in PvP from my sorc) I had the thought: Since scorch is a 3 second delayed ability, can you do some interesting things with that?

So did some thinking and thought about burst damage and ganking:

Will of the Ancients (Weapon Damage Enchantments)
3 med armor Clever Alchemist
4 med armor Pelinial's Aptitude
2 DW Front Bar Clever Alchemist
1 2H back bar Pelinial's

Potion (Major Brutality) => Barswap to Pelinial => Proxy Det => Deep Fissure => Crit Rush (Damage health enchant) => Berserker Strike => Executioner

Edit: Oh, you may be able to get a screaming cliff racer in there somewhere as well.

High Risk / High Reward if done correctly. Better hope you're near a teammate to use nature's grasp.

When you say berserkers strike I sure hope you mean onslaught or at least berserkers rage.


As someone who ganks on a stamn warden the key for your burst especially with deep fissure will depend on how you time your sneak assuming your going that route the trick is to precast netch then swap into the sub assault bar then by the time you are back in sneak sub assault will be primed then its to you to get your self to the target and hope you got the damage.

While I cant make any suggestions if your mag or hybrid especially for gank warden but if you should decide to go stamn gank warden I might be able to help.

Far as cliff racer don't count on it doing that much damage believe me the combo your going to attempt is going to be very complex and the slightest ping spike will screw it up I would focus more on the aoe and forget the birdy all together it aint gona do enough.

Also crit charge phew if your gona go that route id go stampede so if they try to run you can atleast snare them for a sec try to slow them down.

Soon as they see you glowing like fire work though their gona assume bomb inc and if they are smart their gona bolt like the wind *Looking at you mag sorcs* lol.

You might be better off going reverse slice with permafrost with your bomb combo or dawnbreaker for the aoe/cc as if you don't already know onslaught like most non class ults has some *issues* sometimes itl cast the ult will get consumed but nothing will happen if this were EQ1 onslaught failing would read as such " The Skill fizzled out" while im sure dawnbreaker has its fizzle moments also it costs less than onslaught and can benefit more vs vampires while being aoe.

Don't gimi wrong I love onslaught I love getting killed by it means someone chose it over dawnbreaker or their class ult *if they had any good ones* and while I get some ok results from time to time if there was an honest legit better option for 2 hander I would be using it the only other choice for stamn warden at this point is permafrost which is fun but imo goes better with spin to win and dawnbreaker well a lot of people are using it these days and I suspect someday itl probably get *tweaked* or hopefully other ults are buffed

While as onslaught/berserkers strike you better commit to that ult like its a marriage archers mind sword singer or automaton and sword singer with some velidreth and balrogh pieces for the extra damage or maybe selenes for the proc going off how many skills your looking to trigger I might recommend selenes or stormfist.

In closing keep in mind if you manage to make your idea work … I get a lot of crap as is for ganking on a stamn warden if you make your idea work too good youl be hearing about it especially if you plan on sneaking.

Hard to be a ganker or a bomber when you dont have invisibility on demand like a nb, very hard.
