Suggest a good race for my Stamina Warden

I have played a Mag NB and Templar so far.
Thinking of leveling a Stamina Warden (2H + 1HS)

I do not plan on respeccing or even changing the weapon options till I ding 50 (just for kicks..:))


Which is a good race for this weapon combo ?

Wood Elf

Forest and pet-themed. In TES lore they are in union with the forest and can control animals. Also, their high stamina recovery helps after sustain nerfs.

I say Redguard, as all of my stamina characters are Redguard. However, I might make my StamDen a Wood Elf. Just because none of my characters are Wood Elves. Lol.

Of my experience with Warden it feels like they need to use their weapons more than other classes (Both cliff racer and Scortch have delays before dealing damage and in the time between the cast and landing you can get in a few hits with the weapon).


Because of that Carnige will be very nice. Also with Betty Netch you won't have that much sustain issues so the fact that khajiit have lower regen than Bosmer doesn't matter that much (in this case I'd say it is better since they get health too).


And personaly Sneaky is my favorite racial in the entire game. It makes life so much easier.
