What Nords and Argonians desperately need to make them more on par with other races....

Frost Damage and Poison/Disease Damage.....

It would be nice to see one of the Nord's current passives replaced with a "increase Frost Damage by +X%"

I know that the Nord's are not a magic based race, and thus shouldn't have a huge mana pool....but you would think that with all the time spent surrounded by cold elements that they would have at least gained more knowledge on how to master at least the Frost element. Dunmer are surrounded by Fire everyday so they get a +7% to Flame Damage and on top of that Fire Resistance....wouldn't it make sense for Nord's to get +7% Frost Damage plus their Frost Resistance...without a larger mana pool?

The only other race that I believe needs reworking is Argonian. Yes, "Resourceful" is nice....but not on the same level as other races passives. Argonians like Nords do not have any "offensive passives". People will make the argument "well Breton don't have offensive passives either"....but I disagree...Breton at least get a reduced cost on the offensives spells they cast, thus helping Bretons be better offensively. I guess an argument could be made that Resourceful is offensive in the same way....but it is not a permanent decrease in cost and must be activated through the use of potions to benefit from it. I wish Argonians at least could do a small % of "poison/disease damage" and Nords got "Frost Damage". I feel like these 2 races are pigeon holed into roles. Nord's have it the worst....the only thing a Nord is good for is Tanking, period. At least an Argonian can Tank or Heal. I hope both get reworked soon.

    Did you know Nord is the best dueling race for DK?

    It's an awesome race and I wouldn't mind a change to cold resistance but don't touch the rest, 6% reduced damage is just insane on a DK.

    Argonian is the best its ever been. Not every class can be offensive dps through passives alone. I like that we have some offensive passives (high elf) and some defensive passives (argonian, nord).

    Argonian is now great for healing and tanking, and nords dmg reduction is still strong. Plus the creation of the warden has allowed their cold passive to be more useful pvp wise

    I mean, it's not like Nords and Argonians are not strong currently. It's more of a game problem, anything that's not DPS might as well be flavor text to most players. haha.

    Lol Argonians are one of the best races for support classes. Not everything should be dps-oriented, you know. Well, imo poison and magic damage boost etc would be great, but only INSTEAD of current bonuses, not in addition to them, because that would be crazy op.
    Nords on the other hand... Well theyre obviously designed as tanky race but currently its not really working. Would be nice if they would buff them.

    I think Argonians are in a good spot, as they make great healers and tanks. Nerds could use a little love. Not every race needs to be geared towards pumping out maximum damage.

    Give them sweet disco moves. Change the argonian style motif to "polyester leisure suit" and the Nordic style to "heavy gold chains with your astrological sign on it." I'm sure it's Canon.

    Chose racial passives yourself - easy. Just to make it lore-friendly give them base passives that cannot be changed.
    Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 25 DLCs. 41 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game.

    Nords are perfect. Extra stam, health, damage reduction...nords are great. Now you want to make the arguement for nords being resistent to cold abd being able to master frost damage.

    Think about this. Current direction for zeni and frost is that frost is not as damaging as the other elements, but is better utilized for defense. Soo...nords 6% damage reduction mirrors that

    Developer Comment:
    Imperial already increases HP and STAM, to make nord more unique we've changed it to MP and HP. Also we've increased the damage of frost, to make this class more viable for magic frost builds.

    Developer Comment:
    We've kept the main increase and changed imperial to highly increase your damage to undeath characters. Our Main focus has been made to tankability to make this class unique and fun to play.

    I think the best comparison for Nord would be Orcs. Both have +6% stamina and increased health recovery, as well as a defensive bonus (damage reduction vs increased healing). Nords get 3% extra health, and Orcs get a hefty 4% increased melee damage as well as more sprint speed for less cost. Nords' frost damage reduction doesn't really compare, because there are no relevant sources of frost damage in PvE or PvP.

    I think Nords deserve a slight buff, and I think there are several options.

    1) Add Shock resistance to the passive.
    This has precedent in the lore so it shouldn't be a hard sell. Shock is more prevalent in both PvE and PvP, and it keeps the theme of more defensively oriented passives for Nords (which is odd in itself because Orcs used to be more defensive than Nord, but alright).

    2) Add a small bonus to Frost (and Shock?) Damage, 2-3%.
    This also has precedent in the Thunder Fist power, and gives Nords a bit of an offensive bonus. It's a bit odd that this should be a magic-based bonus, but why not.

    3) Add a 3% reduction in stamina cost of all abilitites.
    This would be an equivalent to the Breton bonus, one that doesn't exist yet for other races, and would fit well with Nords' traditional combat focus.

    Argonians are in a pretty decent spot, in my opinion. I have a MagNB that's an Argonian (the whole Dark Brotherhood and Argonian lore connection), and he did superbly in both PvE and PvP. Granted I haven't used them in a long time, because of reasons... But still. Great character nonetheless.

    My main is a Nord. All a Nord needs is a keg behind the bad guys for inspiration.

    I've been soloing public dungeons. Not sure what you're getting at since I spent the last two days on my nord solo farming things from the 2 public dungeons in MW. True, people come and go but for the most part, I do it alone. It would greatly improve my motivation to win if there was a keg of the best mead behind the enemy, but I do fine otherwise.

    Not that I'm a fan of meta builds, but dunnmers make better DKs than n'wahs. Nord is the least efficient race in the game and the only racial whose passive is subject to diminishing returns.
    Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.
