Born, Bred & Made in Manchester UK, RIP 22 Angels. 22/05/2017

    PC-EU

The Place by Tony Walsh Please Read
This is the place in the North West of England

It’s ace, it’s the best and the songs that we sing

From the stands, from our bands set the whole planet shaking

Our inventions are legends! There’s nowt we can’t make and

So we make brilliant music. We make brilliant bands

We make goals that make souls leap from seats in the stands

And we make things from steel and we make things from cotton

And we make people laugh, take the mick summat rotten

And we make you at home and we make you feel welcome

And we make summat happen, we can’t seem to help it

And if you’re looking for history then yes, we’ve a wealth

But the Manchester way is to make it yourself

And make us a record, a new number one

And make us a brew while you’re up, love. Go on!

And make us feel proud that you’re winning the league

And make us sing louder and make us believe it

that this is the place that has helped shape the world

And that this the place where a Manchester girl

Name of Emmeline Pankhurst from the streets of Moss Side

Led a Suffragette City with sisterhood pride

And this is the place with appliance of science

We’re on it, atomic, we strut with defiance

In the face of a challenge we always stand tall

Mancunians in union delivered it all

Such as housing and libraries, and health, education

And unions and co-ops, the first railway station

So we’re sorry! Bear with us! We invented commuters!

But we hope you forgive us – we invented computers!

And this is the place Henry Royce strolled with Rolls

And we’ve rocked and we’ve rolled with our own Northern Soul

And so this is the place to do business, then dance

Where go-getters and goal setters know they’ve a chance

And this is the place where we first played as kids

And me Mam lived and died here, she loved it she did

And this is the place where our folks came to work

Where they struggled in puddles, they hurt in the dirt

And they built us a city. They built us these towns

And they coughed on the cobbles to the deafening sound

Of the steaming machines and the screaming of slaves

They were scheming for greatness, they dreamed to their graves

And they left us a spirit, they left us a vibe

The Mancunian Way to survive and to thrive

And to work and to build, to connect and create and

Greater Manchester’s greatness is keeping it great

And so this is the place now we’ve kids of our own

Some are born here, some drawn here but we all call it home

And they’ve covered the cobbles, but they’ll never defeat

All the dreamers and schemers who still teem through these streets

Because this is a place that has been through some hard times

Oppressions, recessions, depressions and dark times

But we keep fighting back with Greater Manchester spirit

Northern grit, northern wit in Greater Manchester’s lyrics

And there’s hard times again in these streets of our city

But we won’t take defeat and we don’t want your pity

Because this a place where we stand strong together

With a smile on our face, Mancunians Forever

And we’ve got this* as the place where a team with a dream (*Forever Manchester)

Can get funding and something to help with their scheme

Because this is the place that understands your grand plans

We don’t do No Can Do, we just stress Yes We Can!

Forever Manchester’s a charity for people round ‘ere

You can fundraise, donate. You can be a volunteer

You can live local, give local. We can honestly say

We do charity differently, that Mancunian Way

And we fund local kids, and we fund local teams

We support local dreamers to work for their dreams

We support local groups and the great work they do

So can you …help us help… local people like you?

Because this is the place in our hearts, in our homes

Because this is the place that’s a part of our bones

‘Cos Greater Manchester gives us such strength from the fact

That this is the place. We should give something back.

Always remember. Never forget. Forever Manchester.

Are you serious? It's not bad enough that it's a DLC not free with ESO plus. It's not enough that it's not purchasable by accumulated crowns. But now as a PSN purchase it's not available console wide either?

My household has to pay $160 so my wife and kids can play it to? I am absolutely disgusted with you guys.

You have 4 PS4 in your house? You can cut the price in half to $80 by sharing.

You are aware, that PSN / PS+ or whatever the name for access to PS4 Servers have nothing to do with Zenimax, right?

You also aware that this is an MMO, for which you need a personal account, right? You can let your family play on your account for fun, sure. But this is not a Family-wide subscription MMO. So if your Wife wants to play the game - surprise - she has to buy and pay for it. That is how life works.

    wait what

Each account on the PS4 will need their own copy of Morrowind? That's insane. Every other game I have allows DLC purchased from the PSN store to be used by other accounts on my PS4.

My boyfriend can use my copy of ESO, but not go to Morrowind? Ridiculous. Frustrating.

and the discussion around using one chapter per account and not console has been there befor to.

I'd would be rather salty from me to blame the consoleros of the current ongoing b2p, store, sub, chapter disaster

Consoles players are not the same as PC players, we are more casual and don't want to spend a *** load of money so everyone in the family can play it. 1 disc or 1 download should work on all accounts on the same platform.

You know this is an MMO right? Not a single player game? Or a single player game with multiplayer support right? Every single MMO in existence is like this... One account per person. But then you're a console user, MMOs are new to consoles, but that is the way they are.

In defense of OP, and to enlighten those seemingly new to console ways; when someone with an account (gamer tag) purchases a game and game expansion, anyone using that particular console (assuming it's set to their home) or if that account is logged in, every other account (gamer tag) can play that game under their own account (gamer tag).

I've only been playing games on console over a year so this was new to me, but this has been the case for every other game I've played.

This is not the case for ESO and the Imperial Edition (which I thought was because it's available in the crown store).

When we're groomed by past experiences - it's normal to have expectations like this.

However, while it wasn't actually announced (there was a thread here asking this very question in May) asking ESO support eventually (only recently) furnished a legit response.

    https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/345610/can-i-play-morrowind-on-sub-accounts/p1

    OP, I feel your pain.

PC players, I understand your confusion.

I'm a PC player and I'm ultra casual. I would also like to save money, but to have 2 ESO accounts on my PC (altoholic) I had to pay for each of them. Same goes for Morrowind and sub, which I only got on my primary account. Must be nice to have multiple accounts without having to fork over extra money... I envy that.

Did you only buy one of the original game that allows you to have 4 people playing it at one time? No, you bought as many as you needed for everyone to play. WoW does this, FF14 does this, and any game that is account based does this. What is disgusting is this entitlement that 4 people should be able to play on one account at the same time. Would you expect to be able to play CoD on 4 separate consoles with just 1 game? Think things through.

But 4 separate people can play CoD on 1 console, with 1 copy of the game. Just like 4 people/accounts can play ESO on 1 console, with 1 copy of the game. If ESO is purchased in the PSN store, and Morrowind is too, it's reasonable to expect them to behave the same way.
