Templar Tanks in Morrowind?

Is it viable to run one or could you make one work? I know everything looks now at its just about stacking as much health as possible. Anyway to get a Templar to work?

(This is for PvE)

Health stacking was really only for DK tanks for the Ingenious Shield spam. Now with the nerfs to both Ingenious Shield and Equilibrium, it might not be a viable build anymore.

For 4 man content, Templar tanks work fine. Templar healers shouldn't be running Repentance anymore, so you will have to run it for free stam recovery, but other than that I don't think it is much different from pre-Morrowind (in relation to all the classes). I only play a Templar healer myself though, so I could be wrong.

I saw a templar tank the other night in a VAA and was one of the best tanks I've ever seen

Yup, in today's patch. Equilibrium reduces the healing output and the shields created by the caster by 50% now, rather than preventing you from healing yourself. This directly affects the Ingenious Shield spam build.

Ingenious Shield now only gives 10% of your hp as a shield to your allies instead of 15%. Your own shield remains unchanged, though.

Any idea what would be run on a Templar tank? This would be primarily for trials. Like a starter build then something to switch to end game wise? Was thinking Swarm Mother at least for a monster set

What gear was he running? Do you know?

Not a clue, Pretty sure he was using swarm mother tho, Logical to me would be swap between that and Engine Guardian. I was thinking something like 2 Swarm/Engine, 5 Ebon, 5 footman. Idk what I'd put in place of footman tho as another set. I'd say alkosh but I can't even get into vMoL run so
