Buoyant Armiger and new painting drop rate?

I could not find another discussion about this, if there is please drop a link if there is!

But on to my point.

I have been farming for this style and the new paintings for some days now, one chest after the other, but no luck despite how many high-difficulty chest I open.

I have finished the main quest, but is it just me?

I am mostly just curious about other peoples luck and experience!

In my experience paintings have the same chance to drop from simple chests as they do master chests. It's completely random.

I am just suprised that having farmed for days now, opening one advanced chest and master chest after the other, still no drop of either and I know one of my friends who have yet to even do a quest in morrowind have the motifs dropping for him.

Well, won't you get a surprise then!!

1) - i agree that you have as much chance of getting them from a simple chest to master chest.

2) - they are PURPLE so may drop as the 'purple item' in advanced and master with the Treasure Seeker perk.
(doing this, of course, deprives you of something useful, like a necklace or ring)

3) - somewhere in the last 2-3 maintenance periods, the default value went from 395GP to 100GP

So.

1) - Why are they still purple; and not green?
2) - How does this change benefit ANYONE, anywhere in this game?

I havent seen the new paintings listed in any guild trader yet so i guess they are only available for crowns?
Not sure if that is intended though
