Have you done The Lost Prophecy quest? It was added a little before morrowind was released, you can start it from some guy in a lot of taverns in the world. It goes a long way to being a nice precursor to Morrowinds storyline.
Plus, I think there's some 'Call for help' posters around docks that lead you to wanting to go to Vvardenfell. When you get to Seyda Neen, you can also do a quest that's quite similar to the Morrowind character tutorial. (You can only do it on characters that didn't do the morrowind tutorial as well, I hear?)
I actually did "The Lost Prophecy" before Morrowind launched, and I've been looking desperately for the "Call for Help" posters you mentioned. I'll keep looking.Have you done The Lost Prophecy quest? The Missing Prophecy may be a precursor to the Morrowind story, but it doesn't actually link you to the Morrowind content per the OP's wishes. Also, if I remember correctly, the Adventurers Wanted posters don't start any quest, so that doesn't really help either. (If you're looking for the posters though, I believe they're located near the Navigators in the main cities.)Have you done The Lost Prophecy quest? You're kidding, right?milesrodneymcneely2_ESO wrote: »No lead-in, no NPC approaching you with a plea for help (like Stuga or the Star-Gazer Herald), nothing.
Yes, its a bit weird, it might be an issue with items in inventory. ESO is not set up for storing it somewhere until you pick up even if that had been an fun idea for future use.HatchetHaro wrote: »The thing I'm particularly miffed about is that existing characters can't go through the whole tutorial sequence of being captured into slavery.
I really would have preferred to play through that sequence on my Argonian main. Woulf add quite a bit of juicy storyline to my RP.

I would find it quite weird if the champion that defeated molag bal and saved tamriel multiple times got captured and taken as a slave...

Yes, because the Hero who cut molag bal in half and crowned the new king of orsinium and oh, is also the listener or hand or what have you of the Dark Brotherhood is going to get captured and made into a slave.

where is the missing prophecy quest starter for DC faction players?
Indeed, and I would have thought it would be easy to implement. Just add it as an option when talking to Captain Jenassa. Given that it's classed as a "Main Quest" anyway, it should auto-start, and then when you talk to Jenassa you get the option to play or skip the quest.HatchetHaro wrote: »The thing I'm particularly miffed about is that existing characters can't go through the whole tutorial sequence of being captured into slavery.

Getting captured and imprisoned happens to our characters all the time. No reason to stop that now.crashen17b14_ESO wrote: »Yes, because the Hero who cut molag bal in half and crowned the new king of orsinium and oh, is also the listener or hand or what have you of the Dark Brotherhood is going to get captured and made into a slave.
