Happy 1 year anniversary for Dark Brotherhood!

A whole year has already gone since the release of the Dark Brotherhood!

What have you liked more in that DLC? Post your favourite moments!

I quite liked the very first time you enter the Lighthouse in Anvil. That camera work was quite good!
I also liked seeing minotaurs once again! I would love to see more obscure Imperial lore come up in the future too!

And let's not forget all those cool animations with the blade of woe. Tamriel hasn't quite been the same since the Blade was thrust in its midst xD

Definitely blade of woe, I would have to say this was the best feature.

I like DB, but the way guilds work where you have to level the skill line in order to get the story piecemeal becomes a struggle. Back at game launch the Fighters Guild and Mages Guild worked the same way but you had the main storyline plus zone storylines to keep you busy. With TG and DB it exhausts me to have to keep doing the dailies and repeatable quests over and over.

I will finish DB one day. But right now Morrowind is where its at!

It was nice to see Kvatch again... and not engulfed in flames this time.

The maze in Kvatch was pretty nice; there are other mazes in the game but when they come with a map, I don't know what the point of these other mazes are.

I loved that quest and all the details that went into it though it does bring up continuity questions...(how does my mainly DC character get along with an EP and AD agent?)

My first Elder Scrolls game was Oblivion and I've always played as an imperial so this felt like a true return to home for me. I know I already have Cryodiil, but with the mayhem of the battles and the constant moving around the map, I could never really appreciate the return of Cyrodiil. Since the Gold Coast is a PvE area, I could take in my surroundings better and let the nostalgia wash over me. I really wish there was a house there.

the things i use the most ongoing today...

Blade of Woe! take my new chars here right off the bat to get the first kill and blade. Almost right out of tutorials. A very indispensable game mechanic IMO.

Remains Silent! Got iirc 8 of my 14 up to DB-4 just to unlock this and i use it frequently. at one point every day for a long while. Especially right after homestead to get the furnishing. Extremely handy fill-in for alchemy hireling.

the crafted sets were meh. if pelinals gets both damage and crit crossover in any upcoming uptick i might look at it again.

The finale with the sweetroll killer follow-up storyline was fun.

the rest i found good but not overly awesome. I really liked the companions from TG and Orsinium more than the one(s) in Db except for the cameo at the end.

Oh yes ofc! I love the shadowy supplier and also the fact she was included in a subtle way in providing furnishing items

Damn, that means it's almost a year since I took a break from ESO.

As others have said the Blade of Woe, I have far too much joy running around using this on everyone I can. They should probably fix those few boss mobs it works on though... :smirk:

Dark Brotherhood style motif is one of my favourites, light pants (or should I say kilt/skirt?) especially. I also love the Gold Coast and it's daily boss quests.

The main quest was fine and enjoyable but not to memorable as is the case with every quest in ESO but that doesn't bother me as much really since I've grown used to it.

It's a shame there won't be an anniversary even similar to the one we had for TG.

I'm a bit disapointed that we didn't get a Dark Brotherhood event of some sorts but i suppose they didn't want to draw attention away from Morrowind expansion. I also love the look of the Dark Brotherhood style, especially the heavy armour, just hate that i can't use it aswell as my current set bonuses.

I had my own little celebration using the Blade of Woe.

Civilian corpse piles are pretty small these days :(

Can't get more than 3 instances of an unlooted NPC before they start timing out.

Nice one, can't think of a better way to celebrate the Dark Brotherhood. Feel obliged to go on my own killing spree now, spread some festive cheer ;)

Nope. ZOS confirmed no DB event. All focus on Morrowind.

Too bad that also means no DB Collector Edition sale like with the other DLC's. I would have bought it instantly.

I have only taken one character through the DB Questline. Other's have avoided it because it was too much Serial Killing and killing of folks just going around and living their lives.

I wish the random quests were to take out NPCs that were spawned for the mission that had a back story that if not justified the killing, would give me some reason to choose to accept the contract or not. I harp on this as you have to do the dailies to gain rank to get the quests for the factions.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

I would love a house in Kvatch!

Returning to Anvil and seeing a living Kvatch was the best parts for me. Also the end of DB questline was awesome.
