So ive made a high elf sorc and leveled it up so im at my cp now. Looking around at dif builds and all im seeing for endgame pve are pet builds. Is there not a way to do high dps without pets?

✭✭✭✭You can make a strong build without pets, plus the main damage pet (Familiar) was just nerfed by 20%.
Not that you asked, but I'm going to share anyway... ZOS' logic to deal with OP Sorcerers was to nerf Familiar by 20% because obviously Familiar was the main problem with Sorcs when it:
- Requires 2 slots
- Requires a channeled cast to activate
- Requires you to shield it to stay alive
- Has a pulse that requires 2 second intervals to do damage
- Only attacks your desired target when you heavy attack the target (console)
- Has to run over to the target before getting in range to do damage
- Requires another slotted skill (Daedric Prey) to up its damage
So, yeah... there's that.1
