If you wanna hire a decorator you need to buy all the furnishings yourself (with crowns or gold) and just place em in your house for your decorator to move around/style.

Its not against the rules its a service your hiring someone for. I've been paid a few times to decorate a place or room in a house. But you have to have amassed a bunch of furniture before they can get started. And y have to place it all in the house first so they can move it. If be glad to help ya out

Preview the house you have or want furnished. What would you keep , what would you change? And than pick either the same furniture or some you may like better.

Secondly watch some YouTube vids of decorated houses, screen shot pics of rooms you like, if it matches okay and you like it, than great
