Question about magick Nightblade cloak sustain.....

I was wondering if the nightblade cloak ability with the new resource management changes cause you to not be able to cloak as long as you could before the change.....

I am asking because I am hunting for skyshards for a crafting toon as a magika nightblade and dont want to get into as less fighting as possible.......

will it be harder after the update to sustain cloak?

Crouch stealth = mobs can still detect you if you approach too close. If you want to bypass them with no fight (and if you are stamina based) you should wear full medium armour (Improved Sneak passive).

Shadow Cloak = Invisibility - which means that even if you stay right in front of a mob it will not see you until the effect will end - 2.9 sec with nb passive.

If you are magicka based I just suggest to pick "The Atronach" (it gives magicka recovery) and use some magicka potions or even (if necessary use some magicka regen drinks). With enough magicka recover you can stay perma-cloaked just by re-casting Shadow Cloak before it ends.

I use this set to get around on my Magicka Nightblade Argonian and while using Double Take and Concealed Weapon on his Bar, he can really move fast in sneak and Cloak.

that's fine and all if you already have that set. Since it's a dungeon set, farming will be a pain. Using the crafted set gives extra stam, so you can sneak longer AND you don't have to farm the pieces out of a dungeon just to get the "well-fitted" trait.

It is an overland set and can be brought from guild vendors for cheap.

With decent mag regen and maybe potions it is still possible to cloak arround permanently, because the new siphoning strike grants mag sustain even when not fighting.

That's going to be next on the NERF list..

You could go vampire, concealed weapon (needs to be slotted for passive), double take (doesn't take you out of cloak when casted).
