Left my basement looking like this:

Just a subtle red glow coming from the ceiling.

After the Morrowind patch landed I came back to this (warning: sunglasses advised):

Great, my ceiling is on fire.

There are plenty of fire-type lightfixtures already, why did the Lantren of Anguish have to be ruined?

I have about 12 of them hanging up in my Chateau

I bought those things for the seductive red light it gives off, not to have it spewing flames

    Agreed 100%

Even my beautiful Rivenspire Garden Lamps was ruined with a strange holy light glow. I really sincerely hope that they can reverse the effects on these furniture items. We did after all, buy them to be as they we're!

A lot of us did complain that the interiors of the houses were too dark, even with many light sources. Maybe they tried to fix that issue and went a bit overboard.

If only standard chandeliers put out as much light.

They should stay away from the lights, but allow natural light to come in. That's the real problem, having windows that are completely useless.

As for the OP, I'm sorry to see your basement is on fire :s

Haha! I thought someone was messing around in my house. I came back to the same thing, my bedroom now requires SPF 5000.

Reminds me of the screen effect when you were a vampire during the day in Oblivion a little, honestly. :P

That, good sir, is there entire problem. They don't know the meaning of subtle. I would love to play poker with these devs. I could get rich off them.

I know, my character went into my mate formerly subtly lit club/bar he made, and everywhere was blasted by light. I equiped the prophet eyes and walked in to wall to make fun, but really, this needs fixing.

The red glow needs to return, maybe a little brighter that before, but flames currently ruin the effect.
