Imperials are known for being versatile, their passives however doesn't show versatility for mages

According to the lore, they have some magicka within them, they are known for being versatile, but right now, the way it is, they are only stamina friendly, for magicka users we get no use from the passive Red Diamond. Where's the versatility then that was shown on previous games?

From previous games, like Skyrim:
Natives of Cyrodiil, they have proved to be shrewd diplomats and traders. They are skilled with combat and magic. Anywhere gold coins might be found, Imperials always seem to find a few more.
Their versatility leaves them highly customizable and efficient at cross-classes, such as battlemages and crusaders.

Can we make Red Diamond to be a little bit more well-rounded than that? I would prefer to have a health regen buff instead of this, or some max magicka (that i doubt that we are going to have)

And yes, I made a magicka Imperial, why? Because I always like to be a mage, and I like to see myself in the game, I'm italian, so...bretons doesn't have my nose

    Dunmer should be first.

They're not destruction expert enough, another 15% fire damage, 10% frost and lightning damage should be enough.

If my Imperial stam builds are going to be further gimped by one of their racial skills being switched out to magicka, my head may implode (I'll make sure that any grey-matter splashback hits this thread right in the middle :/ )

IF You had suggested this 3 years ago, I'd have been inclined to agree - but you're too late. We already have active Imperial Stam builds.

Health regen is hardly a buff to nearly any build imo. Take mag sorc for example - what you need is magicka regen, mag magicka, spell dmg, spell crit. Healing is either done by Templar in pve or in pvp with healing ward. It would have to be a significant health regen buff, akin to having mutagen ticking all the time. Mag DKs in pvp are usually vampires and thus hp regen is wasted. This also applies to some pvp templars.

9% spell crit racial for Imperials would be interesting.

that's why i said that I would like a health regen instead of a passive that only trigger with phyisical attacks

I think they should create a pack, like Adventurer Pack, that would get you to chose between two types of the same race, a regular one, and a "gifted" one that was born different, like we see in the game when there's a orc that is a mage. So it would have the regular orc, and the orc that was born with magicka (with some unique magicka passives instead, that aren't op or lore breaking)...a regular imperial with the current passives, and a magicka imperial with passives like: 12%max magicka, 10%stamina, 10%max magicka. This should be the "Out Of the Pack" Pack. lol

The versatility of an imperial is that you can play almost any role without suffering too much. 12% more hp, 10% more stam, thats more raw ressources than any other race offers.

Well they could just add the magicka without removing or changing the stamina part of the racial. In the end though I think this is only important if you min/max and you probably won't care what the thing looks like if that was the case. My Imperial is a sorcerer and I did create him in mind for trying a stam sorc but there are times I get tired of fighting against the current so may just embrace magicka on all of them. Plus, if this makes them slightly more powerful than other races, well then good. I paid extra for him.

Or perhaps if you knew anything about TES lore, you might suggest that you wanted different builds for Nede and Colovian. I'd have had some sympathy with that, if you'd demonstrated any knowledge of the game setting whatsoever. :D

what a condescending prick, I knew about those when I read about Imperial even before creating my character, their origin/backstory, etc.

I know, right? I'd actually be happier if racial passives weren't so overwhelming, but it's pretty late to kick that prop out from under everybody.

I've seen Imperial magicka characters wreck people in PvP, so it's doable. The extra stamina is handy. I'm just not good enough at the game to pass up the big chunk of extra magicka I get from choosing one of the "magicka races". If Red Diamond added something useful to the mix... but nope.

So no Imperials for me. :|
