It's nice to see that the people who still spend gas money, take time out of their day to go to a mall, and actually pay more since there's no physical upgrade, only base game inclusive, are being punished for supporting a game they love.

✭I have been seeing a lot of complaints about this. When I pre-ordered the original Elder Scrolls Online collector's edition through third party vendors over three years ago, I received a code to gain early access. Makes me wonder why that wasn't the same for this...Edited by WhitePawPrints on May 24, 2017 4:52AMDozens of core groups that I participated in have left the game. We would bring our grievances here, but after years of white knights on the forum shouting down legitimate complaints, backed up by the inconsistent and biased hammer of moderators, we have all moved onto other games. We are also in the same boat and posted a thread about it early in the month. Gina said she'd look into it but that was four days ago. Nothing since then.
Our primary concern is that we are playing the early access now, but my husband (according to Zos) will lose access on the 8th if he doesn't put in the physical game code from the Collectors edition. Since he's overseas he won't get his collectors edition until about the 20th which means (for us) we cannot play in Morrowwind together from the 8th through the 20th. This seems unjust and unnecessary. There ought to be a work around here for users impacted this way. -

Those that purchased a physical edition get a code from. That vendor for early access.

@Giles.floydub17_ESO You're right, you don't understand the post. Only physical COLLECTORS EDITIONS get early access, but any digital edition does, collectors or otherwise. So on top of already having to pay extra for a physical copy, we have to shell out 4 times the amount to get the same preorder bonus as a schmoe who just got the basic digital upgrade.You just going to stand there like a lemon? -
