Unjustified BG deserter penalty

Participating in bg, winning bg, leaving bg to go again - boom, deserter penalty. Quick fix most welcome along with group queue fix.

I had that too. match was done. I got the option press F to leave battleground and got the penality

Won* multiple times and same bug happen.

Well, in that case, they probably borrowed code from the previous dungeon group finder...the same one that would kick you on arrival after queuing your group. I'd bug report it.

It always seems to be the little things (coding) that kick their ass...

What kind of penalty is it, btw? Gold? Rank?

Well, in that case, they probably borrowed code from the previous dungeon group finder...the same one that would kick you on arrival after queuing your group. I'd bug report it.

Its good punishment for quitters who leave soon as its not easy win. AP penalty is also justified.

Yep, getting this bug in 1/4 BGs or so. Once I let the entire timer on the end-of-match screen run out, still got hit with a penalty.

Im afraid youve missed the point. My reply was to person complaining about justified timer penalty for actual leaving bg in progress.

now I am stuck in an endless loading screen after the group formed.. up for another penalty when hitting F4 I suppose

I had time for one battleground last night. Joined, fought for a couple minutes and died. Then got a three minute loading screen and ended up back in Morrowind...

Totally awesome gaming experience!

Got returned back to the pve zone I was in about 30s into a match last night, then given a pentalty. Similar to what it was doing (maybe still doing) with dungeons last patch.

Just got this bug in a battleground. A team won (not mind) got the option to press F to leave BG and boom slapped with a 15 minute deserter penalty...
