ESO Launcher on Steam keeps telling me I need to repair...unable to repair or play game.

What do I do in this situation? Has anyone had it before?

I downloaded the update today, didn't take long at all and then my launcher kept saying the game needed to be repaired. I validated the game files on Steam and it forced a 14 GB update. I did this thinking that this would possibly stop the launcher from telling me that I needed to repair. Still nothing happened after the 14 GB update and I'm still stuck with this constant repair notification. Please help! I'm ESO plus subscriber and purchased Morrowind DLC. I have been waiting for this moment only to have the game screw up on me the day EA is released.

I have a non STEAM loader and although I can empathize with you I have had this experience so many times I wish I could travel to their server like in TRON and fix the damn thing from the inside. LOL.

If the game tries to re download you will have to wait till its 100%.
DO NOT PRESS REPAIR.
Close launcher.
Log into your account on the website.
It could be that your IP address was like most others wiped Login with your account id and password you may get a message that your IP has changed. (Yeah right.)
enter the code on the web page when it confirms try reloading the launcher.

This sometimes works to get the game to acknowledge your game is now up to date on your end.
I put it down to poor programming the loader should state that a code is required from your email, and or preferably a better way to do the update.

I would prefer a standalone download patch or update/DLC that I can run if there is an error in it the loader should have an analyze/repair ability even for the forced download and only repair or download the faulty or corrupted parts.

They could even use a P2P program that would automatically fix error-ed download parts so no need to repair, maybe one day however I will not hold my breath.

To have to endure a massive re-download more than once is abhorrent.
I had to re-download/repair Orsinium a few times and was out of game for a hole day troubleshooting to get it to work.
Admittedly I did NOT contact customer support or I think I would be waiting for a reply for a few months.

Tried usual things But I still get repair now on third time downloading.
This is crap.
It NO LONGER VERIFIES JUST DOWNLOADS WTF is going on?
