I'm not posting this in the bug report forum (yet) because I'm not sure if it's a bug with the game. It could just be me. I don't want to alert Zenimax if it's just me.
I'm currently having a problem where, sometimes when changing zones, the game locks up entirely (freezes). When it happens, nothing can end the process. Not even task manager. I can click "end process" a thousand times, but it just sits there anyway, keeping the memory to itself. Oddly enough, it acts like it ended, because ESO's cpu usage drops to 0%. Whenever this happens, my desktop also becomes unresponsive, although I can still browse my computer using other explorer windows and the start menu.
So far, traveling between the Rift, Stros M'kai, and Khenarthi's Roost has triggered this. The only thing that works is restarting my PC.
This problem also has only been happening for a couple of days.
Does a problem like this sound familiar to anyone even in the slightest? None of my other games are currently giving me problems.
