bounty from a goat :)

I'm on an pick-pocketing/Assassin-ing grind and i find a lonely farmer and his goat all on there own, an easy target me thinks,
I did think about killing the goat first but.........why waste an innocent harmless goat- though it did attack me after the kill

and yes i can see the contradiction in that statement to my intent and actions

so a quick sneak around the goat a couple of easy pick-pockets and then the killing blow followed by an easy stroll away -
mind that goat did have something to say about it but a quick swipe or two and I'm on my merry way
only to notice that my bounty had just jumped to 700+

so a word of warning to all you thieves and assassins out there - be careful of those pesky meddling goat's

Np was wondering if this was a new creature in Eso , But this biggest issue I have is you go to hand in a pledge or buy something from a vendor and pick up something next to them and get a bounty

oh aye that's another bugbear - especially if you've got a pocket full of booty, no bounty and a close by guard, after you've already used you're daily get out of jail free card......

aye indeed but the funny, (as in Ha-Ha) thing was it must have been the goat that gave me the murder bounty because i killed the goat after the shepherd

Beggars are seemingly quite well to do in this game.

another word of advice -

be careful looting the goat after you kill it.

I didnt pay attention and another NPC could see me when I looted the goat and got its guts.
The NPC yelled at me to "put that back" and my bounty increased for stealing.

I put the stolen innards back in the goat but it didnt help I still had a bounty

I am ok with that except some snitch NPCs can't be killed. If you can't introduce them to the woe, they shouldn't make bounty.
