Master Writ Dye Station missing.

I tried submitting a ticket with ESO, but apparently there's no category to submit it.... I was trading with a friend for the Dye Station, right as we exchanged the Dye Station, the Dye Station was not in my inventory. It's missing now, it's not in his inventory either....How do we get it back?

Also, has this happened to anyone else? I'm a bit irritated and mad with this. That's a lot of work to get 35 Writs. -_-

Have not heard of this happening. I expect you double checked the inventory furniture tab and made sure the vouchers were gone.

I guess one thing is go to the vendor and hover over the item to make sure it does not say one is in your bag or bank.

The other is to give a shout out to @ZOS_GinaBruno and @ZOS_JessicaFolsom to see if they can help you get some traction. May want to state which platform and server you are on.

Did you do it in a house? If you trade in a house then port out of the house the items you traded disappear.

I'm not sure if it's 100% or just a chance of this happening but I have heard of this bug before and it just happened to me a couple of days ago. So don't trade in houses (unless you're planning to immediately use/place that item)

I'm on PS4, N/A server... Dang, I never knew the House trading disappearing, that's pretty unsettling. I really hope we can get the Dye Station back. Because he had enough to get the entire set of stations, and he placed it in his home to get the achievement for it. So he wanted to help the rest of the guild out to get the achievement for us, and it worked, but when we traded inside his home with the Dye Station, I left immediately to my home to place it, and it wasn't there.

But dang, I really hope we can get the Dye Station back or at least have them refund the 35 Writs to his account. I feel bad, it feels like I just wasted his 35 Writs. But if the developers can help us out, it would be appreciated! We will never trade in our home again lol!

Yeah that sounds about right. I feel your pain, traded 15k-ish gold worth chandelier(gave it to friend so he'd placed it in his big house to see what it actually looks like, then he gave it back to me), ported out to sell it(wasn't impressed with the looks) and couldn't understand why I couldn't find it on my bag...til I remembered reading about this bug>.< I tried to contact the CS but no luck so far. Oh well it could be worse lol.

@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom are the bug fixing people aware of this bug? I don't remember seeing anything about it in the patch notes unless I missed it. If it's not getting fixed, can we at least have a warning in-game or perhaps in-house trading temporarily disabled so this doesn't happen?

Yes! I agree, that's really kind of pointless on having the trade feature in your home.. if it's just going to take it away like that when the person leaves.

(I know it's a bug! LOL) But at least disable that feature in the Home's till they get the bug fixed. But I do believe the people who lost item's from doing it, should get their item's back or a reimbursement. Even if it's a Chandelier, that's still a lot of gold! And/or if someone made the item's, that's a lot of materials wasted. Lol!
