Magicka NB leveling experience

A semi-whining thread from a newbie.

I have been levelling my Nightblade as Magicka for quite sometime. (Stamblade is pretty rough when compared to Magicka.)


Anyways…

I was trying to complete this quest where I have to kill a boss plus two mobs.

I tried CCing with Agony and tried blocking/dodging/interrupting and do all sorts of dmg/heal spells and still ended up dead…not once but twice in a row

While I was resurrecting myself in came a sorcerer and I really do not know what happened but in the matter of few secs there was fire, lightning, thunder and a big robot stomping on the boss/mobs….all the mobs were dead in a matter of secs.

I have seen other classes not even batting an eye on situations whereas I as a night blade need to think, plan and execute in perfection if I don’t want my behind handed in a plate to me.

Qs

a) Will this be the trend at high levels for my Magicka Nightblade ?. Mobs are more together and more difficult to kill.

b) Also I noticed that as a Magicka I do not have a strong nuke.Or Am I mistaken ?

When you learn a bit more your Magica NB will be stomping mobs as well. For example, do you open with an area of attack from stealth? Do you buff up with (grim focus) every 20 seconds? These are examples of ways NB can increase damage.

The next time you observe someone melting a lot of NPC's follow behind them and observe. You will see them casting about 3-5 skills before they even start an attack.

Are you sure you're putting all points into your main resource? Are you keeping all your equipment up to your level? What skills are you using? Refreshing Path into Funnel Health spam you shouldn't have a problem.
