Any PC players who bought digital direct from ZOS get it with no further action required.
Any who bought the physical editions have to fill out a form to show proof of purchase.

But those posts do not explain how that happens... I purchased the Digital CE Upgrade from Amazon, but the receipt says it isn't available until June 6. They haven't given me a code. How will ZOS know I purchased the digital upgrade? The article and forum comments from @ZOS_GinaBruno haven't provided that answer yet.

did you even read the thread or click on the hyper link the is on the ESO website? they show you how to get early access even with purchase through Amazon. They don't need to reply because the information is already there just a click away

Yes, I did read all of those and asked the same question there. The Amazon instructions are for the physical copy, not the Digital Copy.

obliviously you didn't because when you register that you purchased the game on ESO website link you have to make a copy of the receipt with your account name on it and upload it which the form gives you ability to do. They even show an example of an Amazon receipt

It's almost time to return to Morrowind in The Elder Scrolls Online, and today we have some exciting news for existing PC and Mac ESO players.
The launch of The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind is just a few weeks away, and today, we're happy to announce that PC and Mac players who purchase the Digital Upgrade version of ESO: Morrowind will have the option to begin their adventures in Vvardenfell a little early on Monday, May 22! This means you'll be able to play the full game on the live megaservers beginning on May 22 and will retain all progression when the game officially launches in June. In addition, all PC and Mac players will be able to download Update 14 containing the fixes and improvements to the base game patch and DLC game packs on May 22 as well.
Early Access is automatically available for players who purchase the Digital Upgrade or Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade versions of ESO: Morrowind for PC/Mac any time prior to launch. If you purchased the Physical Collector's Edition for PC, read on to see how you can join the Early Access event.

ESO: Morrowind Early Access Event for PC/Mac Physical Collector's Edition
If you are an existing ESO player who has pre-ordered or pre-purchased the physical ESO: Morrowind Collector's Edition for PC/Mac, you will be able to join the Early Access event after a few simple steps:
Log into the ESO Support Portal and fill out the Early Access entry form. You will need to provide proof of pre-order or pre-purchase for your physical PC/Mac ESO: Morrowind Collector's Edition.
Our support team will then grant your account access to ESO: Morrowind for Early Access starting on May 22.
When you receive your physical PC/Mac ESO: Morrowind Collector's Edition at launch on June 6, you will need to enter the included code to get your Digital Collector's Edition items and Discovery Pack.
Please note that if you do not apply the code included with your physical PC/Mac ESO: Morrowind Collector's Edition within two days of launch, we will send an email alerting you that you will lose access to ESO: Morrowind content within 24 hours. So be sure to apply the code as soon as you pick up your copy!
Due to the time needed for certification of the PlayStation and Xbox One ESO: Morrowind clients, we are not able to offer early access for our console players. We look forward to seeing you on June 6!

here is a copy of the add that ESO website on the home page says, the bold stuff I made is where the hyperlink is at. you might have to do it several times if you aren't logged in or if you are. I had do it twice when I wasn't logged in, first time when it had me log in sent me to support page. I then went back to homepage and clicked on the link while I was logged in and it sent me to the form to fill out. I got a response within a couple of hours

well I've shown you what you need to do if you don't fill out the form make a copy of your receipt (which you still get even for a digital copy on Amazon) and upload that is your fault. I can lead you to water but I can't make you drink it. And yes that form is for digital copy too.

I honestly hope you are correct, but if you read ZOSs instructions, you would never try to register the Digital Upgrade because they explicitly state that there is nothing to do. Then go on to provide instructions only if you purchased a physical copy.

I appreciate your attempt at helping, but unfortunately, until someone with an "@ZOS_" in front of their name responds, the question is still unanswered.
