HELP ME VMA last boss !!

so 2 months ago i finished vma after almost 1 year of failure but finilay i did it with my stam sorc using 5 tbs, 5viper and 2 Velidreth , anyway the only stages where i died a lot of times are 5, 8 and the final boss . but i made it and maybe it was just a pure RNG luck becz now everytime i try to run it i go from stage 1 to stage 9 in less then a hours with couple of stupid deaths and then i get stuck a week or 2 in the fininal boss till i give up... , i always die up becz once im up i have 0 resource . so now im trying with my stam dk and im stuck in the same loop i always die when i up trying to destroy the crystals .any tips plz ?

note : i dont know why everyone say that playing magica is the the easiest way to beat VMA i tried it with every magic class and even with sorc pet build and i cant pass stage 5 maybe i just suck playing magica

use max health n stam regen food for boss fight then. speed pots can be helful too

Stam sorc will be easier, because surge will heal you more while you DPS, meaning you won't need vigor as often. Use the healing morphs of your dual wield skills for the same reason.

1) Keep moving. You never want to be caught in the AOEs, because you will need to waste stam to break free and heal
2) Drop down periodically. The DoT does more damage the longer you are up. If you go down you need to kill a Crem gaurd and another clannfear, but if your a bit slow destroying crystals it's better to go down and clear the DoT
3) Watch the skulls. Roll dodge is better than block for skulls. There is a long charge up on the cast, so keeo your eye on the boss
4) Heavy attack the crystals after applying dots, no need to go full DPS if you are low on resources, just remember to keep moving
5) Use trash stam pots to you can chug them on cooldown without worrying about cost
6) Take a few minutes if you are getting pissed, rez at the wayshrine, move your mouse every few minutes and breath.

You can use Camoran Throne to boost your regen, but will hurt your DPS and health, and you shouldn't need it.

You might not be aware, but the speed sigil actually boosts all of your primary resource recovery. If you are having trouble upstairs managing resources, that would be my first suggestion. I would also strongly consider using a tri pot when you go upstairs. If you are running out of stam, you are either blocking, rolling, or sprinting too much. Never chase the shield, always go the opposite direction. Also, try to only block or roll his heavy attack. I find rolling to be the preferred method, but make sure you are not perma blocking in any way.

My method generally goes as follows once I am upstairs. Immediately start to DPS crystal to your left. As he charges his skull, avoid the red cicrles and dodge roll, then continue DPSing until the wall forms. You should be able to kill the cyrstal by then, but if not, move counter clockwise to the wall, and try to keep DPSing what ever crystal is closest. As a stam toon, its really important to get your ground dots on them as you might not be able to stay in melee while moving with the wall.

Once the wall explodes, you are going to have to dodge 2 skulls every time. Again, just stay on whatever crystal is closest and dodge roll when you see him charge his heavy skull attack. You have a fair amount of flexibility on the timing. Then repeat. If you get to a third wall, my advice is drop down and just kill the guard. The upstairs wont reset the health of the crystals but it will reset the timing.

The big thing here is to not get caught by the AOE or heavy attack. If you have to start breaking free, its probably over. Also, nothing says the cyrstals have to be killed in order. Just make sure you are good with DOTS and that you are always DPSing something.

You arent alone on this. This is the hardest fight in the arena out of the gate. It does become much easier once you get the timing down.

And it is also good to have the camera zoomed out to the max so that you can see at all times the cristal you are DPS-ing and the boss. It is a lot easier to see him this way when he charges a skull at you. When you do vMSA long enough you will instinctively know when to dodge skull without even looking at the boss.

Also, when you are up try running counter clock wise so that it is easier to catch the first wall the boss spawns.

Also I would really consider getting 5 pc VO. It really helps with sustain on stamina and has nice damage bonuses (minor slayer).
