Is the "Play how you want" dogma inapplicable to DKs?

    Of course there is. Do you have any idea how hard a damage spec'd light armor magicka dk hits? I actually plan to play a dual wield/resto magicka dk next patch after I try out stamina warden.

    LOL. Go ahead and try that set up right now on PTS and fight ANY class. I'll wish you luck. It literally takes one thumb to outlast + beat a MDK on pts.

    Good luck living more than 3 seconds in pvp in light armror on a DK with dw. You block once and with the stamina changes your stam is ruined. Oh you used igneous once hope you hit a heal because that major mending is gone now too.

    mDK gets into a good spot, instead of 1% of the player base pvping with one it goes to 5% .. gotta need them again. Not enough god sorcs running around.

    Ofc there is, just dont expect to be as good healer as Templar or as good dps as Sorc.

    What leaderboards are you talking about? The irrelevant Campaign AP leaderboards that can be farmed by spamming Resto? Or Trial leaderboards that are in fact mostly MagSorc DPS. Or perhaps you mean the VMA leaderboards which, for Sorc, require a minimum 500k score. Please be specific if you wish to engage in further conversation.

    I have the most time in my Nightblade, couple of years of PvP with him, the a year of catching up with PvE.

    I have two other characters at 50, one is crafting alt who's not finished Deshaan, the other is a Sorc I rolled this year and got through EP Zones and main story before putting down.

    My point was more that the OP is so blinded by his balance rage they're posting that everyone who disagrees is a sorc.

    The funny thing is that this thread seems to suggest sorcs were always on top and DKs were always on the bottom. Which simply isn't true. Now....are DKs maybe lower on the ranking than sorcs this patch? Yes probably. Does this means they'll always be remain there? Hell no. Thinking that your (favorite) class should be on top is one thing but pretending it never was is just nonesense

    DK hasnt been on top for over 2 years now lol.. since 1.6 it dropped down near the bottom and since 1.7 it was arguably the weakest pvp class unless you ran in a decent sized group.
