Do you use staff attacks to trigger it? I get horrible uptime on the bonus damage, what skill do you use to keep it up?

✭✭✭✭I don't know what context you're asking in reference to. But for pvp if you're using an inferno staff and crushing shock weaves you'll be able to proc it easily and often.2 -

you're clearly not using, for the lack of a better word, "meta" skills if you're having trouble procing it.
which probably means even if you do proc it you're not at your full dps potential.

✭✭It has a 20% to proc on Flame Damage abilities, so you need to keep spamming fire abilities over and over if you want it to work AND have a good uptime. MagDK has the highest chance of it proccing, otherwise you need to be wearing something like Grothdarr to increase the chances of it going up. jo_hanes✭I have found that ground based area of effects proc the set just find of course these need to be flame based. Skill such as elemental blockade, burning talons burning embers eruption are a few that come to mind if the damage is flame then it is good to go. also I observed that monster sets such as lamdris proc often on aoe's as well the longer the target stays in the area the more likely it will get some extra attention.

Even on a Templar with just wall of elements and reflective light you can get 60%+ uptime. The set is better than Julianos if you manage to get 50%+ uptime.1 -
TheStealthDude✭✭✭✭I use 1 lightning staff with WoE on that bar and still have good uptime on my mDK. Between Burning Embers, Engulfing Flames, Eruption, Whip, and FoO, you should be getting 50%+ uptime, if not better (66% theoretical max).

He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.***Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.

It should be, but you probably won't proc it very often, much less be close to the max up time possible.

mDK with a lightning staff means a heavy attack build (hopefully).
Between Burning Embers (single target dot), Engulfing Flames, Eruption and fire Ilambris proc (aoe dots), you should have no problem getting a very high BSW uptime, regardless of type of staff used. And those, plus Elemental Blockade, are the staples of a mDK heavy attack build and should be at or near 100% uptime (proc excluded).Edited by villiansvb16_ESO on May 2, 2017 10:32AM0 -
