Controller support Stopped working

I've been using the controller support with my xbox controller since I started playing, but after takig a short break from the game & coming back It doesn't work anymore at all.
The Controller works with every other application I try & the guide button still opens the xbox menu from windows 10.
I didn't change anything with the game or the controller, so I have no clue what could be wrong.
I've been looking online but I can't find any solution to my problem.
