Whats really wrong with housing

You cant invite your guild over for dueling tournaments. Most people can only fit 12 or something like that.
If im gonna pay 120$ for a fake house can I atleast get some ideal features?
Ya my house is awesome i can design it however i want but what if i want to have 20+ people in my house?
Even if it made area laggy I wouldn't mind atleast it would gove you the option.

@Ihatenightblades If you have the newly released island, you can fit 24 people in it. I kid you not. Which is why I'm going to be constructing an arena/dojo there. I can FINALLY host proper dueling tournaments with friends and guildies.

✭The answer to what is wrong with housing is simple. It serves no purpose without storage. Its a trophy that costs a lot of money and when the player is all done furnishing it they can say "Oh goodie look at my House".2 -

Zvorgin✭✭✭✭✭Housing should have armor dummies that have inventory slots identical to the gear you wear and put the armor on display. Then can be auto equipped, that way on console you can quickly switch between PvP gear and PvE gear by simply clicking a button in your house. Also, when you aren't doing one it would be cool to have it on display and keeps it out of your active inventory.0

I have to disagree. Played FF14 for a long time. Crafter, worked hard to earn the gold. Could not afford a small house.It's pointless unless you like decorating or something.
To me any instanced housing = bad housing.
Open world housing is where it's at. Unfortunately ZOS made such a tiny game world as to make this impossible.
The majority of players who could afford them either bought one when housing was first introduced (price was more friendly), or just paid real cash to buy the gold. Limited goods are limited.
I much prefer houses for everyone.

I'm totally ok with everyone having a house.
I played FFXIV for a while, from launch up until after Heavensward but the game wasn't for me. Too long winded and slow.
Anyway, in ESO I think it's fairly easy to obtain at least a small house.
I have ESO+ and have accumulated enough crowns to purchase a small house, I got the Twin Arches, but once I had it I felt almost zero desire to do anything with it.
