It's boring because it's easy. Nobody likes "Press X to kill final boss" games.
Try end-game Nightblade, it's similar to playing Dark Souls.

But with Magblade its really a challenge to pull 40-50k out. Much more fun.

Once again, I just don't see how strength of class influences fun or not fun. Magblade is literally the same playstyle as Sorc, but with weaker DPS. While you can work hard on getting good DPS, on Sorc you can work hard on getting amazing DPS. I just don't get how strength = boring and weakness = fun. They aren't really connected IMO.
I play a stamblade not because I like the challenge or because I want to play on the crappiest DPS class, I play stamblade because I like the skills, the animations and the class itself. Working harder to get the same DPS that a stam DK get while screwing up, isn't something that makes the class somehow more fun for me.

But whenever i play my magic templar(dps) i have a more fun time and enjoy it more the sorc kinda stale and boring does anyone agree???
Also im debating if i should switch mains to magic templar but not sure if thats smart?
I mainly dps in pve and pvp i know sorc number one isnt the templar right behind tho?
In terms of dps

I think its a matter of people's attitude, I chose for Magblade for the same reason as yours. The effects and everything but it took me a few months before I learned its rota and whats best for it in gear. With my first time sorc I managed to do that within a few hours, so that took away most of the "challenbge" part from the class from me.

So no. Magblade isn't a "harder version of Sorc" its a "weaker version of Sorc". But strength and weakness of the class doesn't affect how fun/boring it is to play.
