I see people dis games like wow here. But I dont see the numbers or skill to back it up.

Nothing good to say about this game. Not the community or the gameplay. Just a really really bad wow/gw2 clone.

I cant even get any of my friends to play it, you know the ones who got hooked on es back in the day (when you had 8-20ms ping on 10y older games on adsl/cable).

Game runs beautifully on my rig. Love the graphics. One of the major reasons I still play.

I'm pretty sure most people have a higher latency than their frame rate.
It's just a consequence of more connected devices and more running applications, background or otherwise.

People trash the game because they love it. Weird but true. Then you get people that just follow the crowd and get easily influenced by other people opinions. Don't worry about it? As long as you are enjoying it who cares? We all know its hot air, they will still play and pay, just like the YouTube's who say they won't. Yeah yeah...

Most part of the community being [snip] and upset about such a pile of 'fix and improve' and still some trying to hide it behind the argument of 'its just a lie, everyone will be happy and play and will keep paying...' And this is why nothing will ever change. And no, people dont even play this game. Not even 1% of the mmo crowed.

considering how much the population and the % of people who own a pc has grown, this game is doing terrible. But lets not look at facts, Let's just delude ourselves


It's all great for casual gamers but for those of us you want something to be competitive with or just simply work correctly.

Talking out your ass, seems a trend these days. clearly has never played a mmo before, thinks 180ms it norm 3 am on a empty server.

So... people who got hooked on ES when their internet connection was irrelevant? What does adsl or cable have to do with them getting hooked on single player games that had no online functionality?

Kinda like Call of Duty, but for what it's worth I don't like either game. Sometimes the popular guy takes the hit simply because he's popular.

I hate Blizzard's art style. I actually hate Blizzard in general. Diablo 3 is probably one of the worst games I've ever played. That's why I dislike WoW, something as trivial as the art.

Yeah I have never gotten any of my friends to play this game either, they bought it but quit after a week or so(It is an MMO though). From the outside looking in I agree the game looks like a total mess, from the inside...lol well that is polarizing. For me on console the game has been stable considering it is an MMO for..console. If anyone remembers the PVP glory days I think we're all waiting for that patch and then some. Once I saw how small the dev team really is I backed up considerably, but no handouts. Just Wrobel..come on dude. The main concern isn't about content(We are getting our PVP/PVE content with Morrowind..) or the gameplay at heart but just class balance at endgame for both pvp/pve including the DC's and lag. Recently deep down majority of players are being patient when it comes to the sustain changes but what is really bugging everyone is the class NERFS* when it was clear that some classes needed buffs going into any update. This is ESO at the moment. Maybe a few tweaks will settle this for good.

You probably didn't have 8-20ms ping 10 yrs ago unless it was on your local network. (& you probably didn't have a local network.)

Furthermore, if your ping was that bad on a game that didn't go online, well...you were clearly doing more than one thing wrong.

Same here. I tried to explain to some friends why I couldn't stand WoW and none understands.

I don't mind a somewhat cartoony art style but WoW's type of cartoony is simply ugly. The environment art has been improving, though.

Diablo 3 is actually better, though my preferred style would still be Diablo 2/PoE.
