One of my biggest pet peeves in this game is how interrupts and staggers work. That have been times where I have LOST more resources against your local FOTM stam sorc spamming dark deal because I a) cancelled by stam regen due to bashing whereas my opponent's is still ticking away b) spent stamina to bash whereas they spent absolutely nothing c) I lose a global cooldown just like my opponent does thus cannot counter a CC immune opponent spamming channels. So why exactly am I being punished for doing something I'm supposed to be doing?
@ZOS_GinaBruno here's a simple fix that would make interrupting powerful skills worthwhile instead of dry me up on resources just for me to get Dawnbreaker'd. Any amount of these would help deal with cases of relentless bashable channel spam.
#1) You should not be able to break free from interrupt stagger. You should absolutely get stuck in that long ass animation for being lazy and not appropriately utilizing your channeled skill in an advantageous position..
#2) Interrupt stagger should not give CC immunity. The idea that you get CC immunity for
MASSIVELY *** UP AND GETTING YOUR *** PUSHED IN WITH A *** BASH makes no sense.
#3) Interrupting a bashable skill should return back some resources, significantly more than it costs of all stats.
Any of these (or combination thereof) would help stop the madness of interrupting skills costing the interruptor more resources than the interruptee.
