ESO devs not as talented as WOW devs?

A friend told me the wow dev team bangs out maintenance in 2 hours flat every week like clockwork even when implementing new patches.

My friend also told me the eso dev team smells like cheetos.

Is any of this true? As an eso fan I can't believe it.

I am not sure that's gonna be a good comparison on either side. That's like helmet kid versus window-licking kid in a short bus battle royale.

Yeah but if it takes windowlicking kid 12 hours to lick a window then who is the real winner?

I've never seen any MMO make as many drastic changes to its base formula to satisfy players' wishes. ZOS is a small team, and yet it accomplishes some pretty impressive stuff.

Also, WoW has had its fair share of downtime and extended maintenance as well, especially in the beginning.

NOW.....in terms of talent, IDK, but in terms of strategy and covering bases prior to releasing stuff, I'd argue that Blizzard is further along. They do have a much larger development team compared to ZOS and possibly larger than Bethesda's TES team combined with ZOS ESO dev team.
