Token Reward System - Suggestion to Devs

Now I know that I am probably one of many to complain, suggest or whatever. Yet I feel the need to voice my opinion in a possibly constructive manner.

I am a PvP player, and came to this game for what I had seen on streams, youtube and so on. I've spent a good 10 years or so in MMO's such as World of Warcraft raiding PvE content, and honestly I've switched to PvP the last year or so to shake things up a little. I've been playing ESO for some months now, making all kinds of different classes and styles to try out in PvP and see what fits me as a person best. Now lately I've spent about 3 hours a day, every day for a week, farming the same 2 instances for the same single last piece I need to try out a build. I think I've ran City of Ash I about 200 times or more trying to get any destruction staff with the sharpened trait, and I've helped my friend in Ruins of Mazzatun about 40 times now to try and get him an Amber Plasm ring.

RNG is part of the game for obvious reasons. Yet being 'forced' into content you more-or-less got tired of after about 50 runs because you want to try something for yourself seems a bit silly. Not to mention the amount of people asking this for vMA already. So here's my suggestion:

- The last boss of an instance drops a token rather than a piece of loot (excluding Monster Helms, they should be kept as is in my opinion)
- The quality of this token is determined by the difficulty of the dungeon; blue for normal, purple for veteran.
- The token can be one of the three prominent sets of that dungeon. For instance; "Token of Burning Spellweave", "Token of Embershield", "Token of Sunderflame" for City of Ash.
- Which one of the three tokens you will obtain remains RNG.
- A vendor at either the start, or the end of each dungeon where the items in all different traits can be bought with said tokens.

If this eliminates a certain farming aspect the game was intended to have, possibly make it so the tokens on their own can only drop at about 10% rate, whilst the other 90% you would still obtain regular gear as always. Maybe even lock this system in untill a character has reached level 50.

As it stands I absolutely love this game and have no intention of quitting. The Morrowind patch seems great and we'll roll with the punches as we always do. Yet I've found myself taking breaks from the game because I can't stand a single item I need for a build I've theorized in my head simply not dropping for myself nor any group member in 200 or more runs.

But, the more you farming = the more time you spend in game = the more money they make.

Also, making system like this will take them a lot of time, work and money, and they will not have any financial profits from it.

It's sad and disappointing because people were talking about token system since ages. Devs said they're looking into it. And guess what, big update is coming (which will add another new RNG sets) and still no token system will be made.

Farming dungeons for BoP sets made me start hating dungeons at all. I spent so much time in City of Ash trying to get burning spellweave, that I really don't like going there anymore for pledges.

Maybe we'll see token system in next 6 months or so, when they will find idea how to make money on it.
