Like an astute Google-Fu acolyte, I can find guides, tips, hints, tricks, and slash fic about pretty much anything.
However, that does not mean what I find is totally reliable, up to date, or even coherent at times.
So, I was wondering, you noble tanks out there, if you could point me in the direction of guides/tips/articles about tanking in ESO (mainly group content) that helped you out, impressed you, or gave you the tools needed to make the best of your abilities. Commenting here with your own experiences is of course, very welcome.
My character: Breton Templar. Plan to be a tank but offer some healing as needed when things start hitting the fan. Think EQ1 Paladin. Right now I am enjoying my character a lot, and look forward to unlocking more skills to try out. I am not looking for a race or class change as I love my combo.
Thanks!
For a decent templar tank build I would look to Deltia (only templar tank I know if) -http://deltiasgaming.com/eso-templar-tank-build/

Seems like a fairly decent build, it is similar to what I have been going for. Am still low level and don't have access to all the skills yet and currently just playing around with random skills in the skill lines I like.
I did notice some skills listed are on the list of PTS changes, but I am not too sure how that will affect me and my style.
So, given some similarities, glad to know I am naturally on 'the right track' and not ROFL-Insane.

Honestly with the upcoming big nerfs to stamina sustain in general as well as dk nerfs (battle roar and helping hands) I think other classes have the best shot at being viable for vet trials more than any other patch. I am currently in the process of theorycrafting a nb tank that could do quite well, and if i feel it lives up to my expectations after my testing I may write a post about the build.
