Are there alternatives to Maelstrom arena Daggers/Bow?

I just levelled an alt character (level 50 cp 330 ), NB, using one of deltias NB builds and the it requires the Maelstrom weapons. But to be honest I lack the patience to run solo content like MA or VMA. I am a casual player, i dabble in a little bit of PVE and PVP, I just wanted to know if there are any close contenders that might be easier to acquire or craft? I'm not looking to dish out ridiculous numbers in terms of DPS but at the same time I dont want to be weak. ATM I'm running 5 piece Hundings and 3 piece Ashen Grip and 3 set of jewelery for stam regen. ( cant remember what set )

The next best setup you can run is 5 two fanged serpent+5 vicious ophidian+ 2 velidreth but this setup is 5-10k DPS loss compared to vMA setup. Vicious ophidian drops in AA+HRC+SO and TFS drops in SO only.
For an real easy to get setup you can try 5 Hunding's/TBS/nmg+3 agility+2 velidreth/kragh+2 leki daggers

If you're truly a "casual" player. You're not going to worry about weapons. Just use weapons that compliment your armor sets. I currently run 5-pc Bahraha's Curse, Briarheart, and 2pc Sithis for combat and 5pc Bahraha's Curse and Night's Silence when I need to be sneaky. My weapons help complete the sets.
