So why do Siphoning Strikes and Siphoning Attacks restore health but Leeching Strikes doesn't?

Was this an error? Stamblades have the worst healing in the game, so why make them choose between regaining health and magicka or regaining stamina? Stamblades need health AND stamina regain as they have the lowest survivability of all the attribute + class combinations in the game. Please, ZoS, make Leeching Strikes restore health + stamina.

    It does, what it does not do is help you manage your resources. It costs 2020 stamina to cast, and each light/heavy attack restores 1495 health (affected by battle spirit, defile, and does not crit), and 397 stamina. It's useless right now :-\

    Okay, so it costs more than it's worth, huh? :( Maybe if they made it restore more stamina or reduced the cost some it would be decent?

    Or they could flip the resources needed to cast, such as LS costs magicka to cast and gives back health + stamina and SA costs stamina to cast and gives back health + magicka.

    Yeah currently you need to land 5 - 6 light attacks just to make up for the cost. And considering the purpose of the move is to increase your resource management it's a failure now. In terms of survivability it is very underwhelming. It would be more beneficial for you to slot Swallow Soul, and increase your healing passively than it would to use Siphoning Strikes.

    Stamblade is pretty reliant on utility magicka abilities too. Restore the dual resource return on Siphoning Attacks!

    What I found utterly stupid is that they nerfed a skill that granted a heal based on a 3% max health... and that was "too stronk for NBs" according to ZoS.

    at 30k health, the base heal was 900 HP
    Sarcasm is something too serious to be taken lightly

    Since Stamblades have no access to a damage shield (the one from Brawler lasts an eye-blink and is too weak to count as a usable one, they have to rely on good healing to survive thinks like vet dungeons. (I was dying constantly throughout Vet City of Ash II, for example), so why not make Siphoning Strikes and its morphs a decent heal for them? They are glass cannons with a very poor level of survivability. Stamblades are junk for end-game content outside of PVP. My main's a stamblade, but I've given up on using him for Vet dungeons as he dies too often.

    Seriously, no one seems to want stamblades in a party for trials and vet dungeons because they die continually. I do and that's even with over 18k health and 100 pts each in Hardy and Elemental Defender. :(

    Stamblades need decent healing and access to a useful damage shield.
