@ShadeauxPlay ESO, the MMO where you get weaker over time. Login today to see how weak your hero has become. Simply ridiculous...

Leaderboards and rankings doesn't matter as much as in other games. A way to give progression feeling, is to come with new and challenging content as well as give your characters more power through the game experience. This way, players who previously could not beat the challenge content, will have a better chance with time.
So far, increase hp in monsters and constant nerfs, doesn't give a nice progression feeling.

This, you want an low level power creep in PvE, same way you want an low level inflation in economic, the opposite is far worse in both setting. nerf abilities and sets who is clearly OP compared to the rest.OrphanHelgen wrote: »I have been saying this for more then half a year now actually. Just imagine the vMA QQ threads after the patch.
Power creep isn't necessarily a bad thing. It means that many people, over time, can complete older content that was previously out of their reach.
And this affects people at the top, too. We have new content to learn and master, and that is what is interesting to us. Making existing content that we've run literally hundreds of times harder doesn't make us want to play them more--in contrast, having content that we used to have on farm suddenly increase in difficulty is a great nuisance.

You know... I do agree with the sentiment. But not with the source of it.But far from whining by opening QQ threads I will move adapt and move on. I don't despair over the coming chances, but understand I will have to update my build. That's a good thing because I like challenges and I enjoy the constant pressure to improve myself, which I've been doing from day one. This is actually my 1st MMO and I had to learn everything from scratch. Learning in games is good, just like IRL, since if you are not constantly learning, it probably means that the Grim Reaper is just around the corner.
