We need a transmog system yes. But monster helms are so unique that they deserve to be ignored by it. Unless a transmog would allow the monster shoulders to go on both shoulders! Cmon symmetry ZOS, do you understand it

Agreed, not monstersets though. And u need to have ALL 9 traits researched to unlock this feature. This is only something a Mastercrafter would have skill and knowledge about.

Is the second choice "no monster sets to be changeable" or "no monster sets at all"?

The second is you can change the style of dropt dets but not the style of monster sets.

Thanks for the fast response. I'm indifferent to the idea because I prefer trying to mix-match with dropped sets, but if it helps get what others want, I'm all for it. And also because the way you spelt "dropped".

Wait, Mojmir voted yes to all on this, but he's against the idea of changing the way Stormfist looks on my poll. Why even care for what it looks like when all you want to do is change it?

Love this transmog idea but don't think ZoS will like it. It will hurt costume sales in crown store.
PAWS (Positively Against Wrip-off Stuff) - Say No to Crown Crates!

TESO needs a wardrobe system badly. Something similar to WoW's tmog system would make this game one of the best mmorpg out there!

Only thing is, not everyone wants a cookie cutter costume. And most costumes that look combat-ready have a weird name and are in crown crates since they removed them awhile back. To be honest, a monster set idea of just being a random motif, rather than wearing a potato on my head, sounds very nice.

The Monster Sets are the ones most in need of being transmogged.

They are so ugly that even if they were BiS by a 50% margin I wouldn't wear a set unless I could hide it with a costume or transmog it.

Problem with a costume is it hides everything else I have equipped, stuff that I have worked hard to make sure looks exactly as I want it.

They barely even sell any costumes in the crown store. It's just re-coloured harem pants, dresses, and tunics every month.

Plenty of the complains about the look of monster helmets.
Now not having other helmets look like the monster one makes some sense.

Having both shoulders would require making an new model. Transmorg just changes the look to any other model.

Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

This game needs a transmogrification system, something tied to master cafters that can be attuned then sold by them perhaps?

Why give even more advantages to the people who have played longest and so already have the most advantages?

Master Crafters aren't special in anyway; all it takes is time.

And I say this as someone who is about 40 days away from being a Master Crafter.

The problem is that is removes all incentive to ever use crafted sets.

You have to buff the crafted sets first.

I personally would like to morph monster sets as well, but I understand why some people wouldn't want them morphable. But if they were not, helmet and shoulder motifs would still be a bit on the useless side, which would slightly defeat the point of transmog, to make motifs worthwhile.

But I seriously do wonder if they will ever add transmog and weapon dyes. They're by far the two most wanted things for this game, both things almost nobody would complain about, and something almost everyone would like and use.

We need a transmog system! It's a pain when you can't customize appearance of your character without become almost useless in dungeons and trials. Yes, some players feel themselves alright wearing towels or looking like surreal animals, but others are not! Costumes will be still an option, because of their unique look. I bought and use them from time to time. You even can sell more Crown store exclusive motifs if you like, but hey! I can't sleep well at night, because my breton looks ugly and I can't do anything about it, but only complain here... :s

    Absolutely!

    A "transmogrification" system is needed.

Guild Wars 2 has a system
Star Wars: The Old Republic has a system.

There are so many fantastic armor motifs and styles.

Who among you prefer to wear mismatched armor sets?
If a crafted set (bonuses) are not up to par, then that is a different and separate issue from the style or look of the armor.

Any armor should be "changeable" into another style.

Monster sets too! Maybe I want all my armor pieces to match the monster set style or maybe I'm wearing a cool motif, but the monster set ruins the look....

The point is that we all want the ability to choose how we look and present ourselves to the world.

Change armor style to another motif could cost gold, crown gems, resources.... whatever.

Personally I love the: Hollowjack and Minotaur motifs... but it sucks to wear mismatched pieces...

Any of you wearing 7 pieces of the same motif? really?
