Character slot discount leading up to Morrowind release

Seeing as how 90% of players already have 8 characters, is there going to be a discount on character slots leading up to Morrowind's release? A lot of my guildies see no point getting the expac because they can't create a warden anyway since they have no free character slots. I'm one of those suckers that preordered the expac and will have no friends to play with on the new island because of this.
1500 crowns per character slot is pretty extortionate. 1500 for 2 is more reasonable.

But in the future, I know it might be overkill, I'd like to see more slots available..I mean, we are gonna need more mules for when we run out of inventory space, right?0 -

At the least there will be additional character slots given. Though, it'd be nice, as was suggested, for those of us who have bought morrowind that we get the slot, or two, for free with it.
As long as I've been playing MMOs, I know that more than 10% of the population of any game are altoholics that have more than 1-2 characters. I'd say at least half have 5 or 6 characters. I'm on 8 right now myself. Still deciding what I want to play and which character / class will be my mains. Tough decision for an altoholic. lol2 -

They confirmed that two extra slots will be available via purchase.

I pretty much feel the same way. A character slot should be provided woth the dlc with an addition of a new class. This is just a cheap move on Zos part to not include one. Sure, I can buy additional, but thats not the issue. It's how they handled it. Here is some new awesome content with this really cool, new class. Where do you get 90% from. Would like to know the source of such information since Zos has never released such details.
Crown sale right now. That provides a nice discount. Players that want to roll a Warden but have character slots filled can always delete the one they use the least. New slots are not that expensive and any subs will have the crowns unless by then.Edited by idk on April 13, 2017 1:15PM0 -

✭✭✭I bought a 5500 this sale and bought the final 3 slots for alts to do writs for anniversary rewards.
Dang their horses are slow! I'm leveling that though I will likely kill 2 when I get Morrowind. Then again, I'm not sure when I will get Morrowind. I might wait until the next DLC drop and get Morrowind + 1 month sub. I like the sub every 6 months to play DLC and refill bags approach.
I was looking at my expenditures breakdown on eso-database and by far my largest expenditure has been expanding storage. Upgrading horses is a distant second. I won't be expanding their storage past 2 bag upgrades.0
