ESO: Morrowind Soundtrack

I'm a massive fan of all the Elder Scrolls soundtracks, and ESO is no exception. The new variation on the Morrowind theme from the announcement trailer has made me excited for more music. I'm hoping for an entirely new ESO: Morrowind soundtrack rather than updates to the existing ESO soundtrack, but I'll be happy either way.

Anyone have any thoughts / guesses when the OST might be released? Do preorders of OSTs even happen? ZOS, care to weigh in?

You can Purchase all of the TES and ESO soundtracks on Itunes, I imagine Morrowind will be no different. It honestly is the best music of any MMO in my opinion, I will certainly buy it when it's available.

I agree, @Balamoor. It must be daunting to compose a soundtrack that players won't get fed up with after so many hours of playing. I haven't played many MMOs but I wonder how many are successful at this. ESO certainly does a great job.

The OST will be a day one purchase for me. I hope there's an announcement if / when it arrives.

The current base game OST is available from a number of places, their expansion OST only from iTunes.

If they do a Morrowind one I would imagine iTunes again as it seems Bethesda are mostly pushing music via that now (Fallout 4) which is sad.

I really prefer the Amazon purchase as it's less hassle than iTunes. This is one of those cases again where people are lining up to throw money at them, but they're not making it accessible in a way people will.

Oh no, I didn't realise there was an expansion OST. I don't use iTunes (and you can't search iTunes without downloading it, apparently). This doesn't bode well for the Morrowind OST.

Correction: the expansion OST is available on Amazon. This will tide me over until Morrowind.

How long has that been there? We've been pushing for ages to get them to release it somewhere other than iTunes and it seems nobody bothered to announce that they did.

Oh snap! Thanks I wasn't aware of that. Looks like ZOS/Bethesda changed that and snuck them out.
