What should I run on my stam nightblade?

I bit the bullet and turned to the darkside by making a stamina nb this jester's festival for pvp. Since i have never played one, i was wondering if any of you can help me gearing them out. I want to use a 2H and bow with no proc sets (other than velidreth or selene's but no viper, widowmaker etc.). I don't know if it makes a big difference when it comes to the build but i did choose a woodelf for my race. Thanks!

    just as a suggestion - you may want to add a couple of pieces of heavy into your build (5 medium/2 heavy)...

    that'll help your survivability (if you don't feel like hiding in the bushes all the time), and open the door for heavy armor sets (3 jewelry, 2 armor)...

    Thanks for the tips, but I was curious what heavy set would be beneficial as 3 jewelry 2 body. At first I thought seventh legion but I feel that's more for brawler builds, and I was also thinking black rose but I don't know how much the jewelry costs and it is also more of brawler set. Do you know any heavy sets that I could use?

    Better off not using heavy armor jewelry as it's usually always healthy rather than robust, excluding unique jewelry. If you did want to run 2x Heavy and 3x heavy jewelry I would recommend Ravager or Fury. Yet the point still stands of the Healthy over Robust jewelry.

    Blackrose would be pointless to run unless you plan to run at least 5 heavy, otherwise you won't benefit from the 5th set bonus.

    As far as medium armor goes;

    Hundings = damage
    Senche = damage (gimmicky)
    Hulking = damage/sustain (max stam)
    Bone Pirate = sustain
    Marksman = sustain
    Eternal Hunt = sustain
    Spriggans = pen
    Viper = burst
    Alchemist = burst

    Mix and match from those choices there and you'll be all set.

    As far as monster sets;

    2x BS
    2x Troll King
    2x Veli
    1x Kena/1x Veli/1xBS/1x Selene (mix/match)

    All decent choices.

    @Yubarius ...your right...not much in the heavy armor category that screams "burst"...

    ravager, dreugh king slayer (because you're using 2H, not useful), affliction (one of the first sets I ever used :)), veiled inheritance...

    So I looked into Affliction, and a question arose in my mind. If I wanted to use it WHY would I choose it over Viper's Sting?? Viper has the same CD, but affliction has a 50% chance to proc and does like 4k less damage.... WTF ZOS? but yes, ravager seemed interesting but i am considering using a set for surviveability, and knightmare seemed like a cool one, or even leeching plate (i would use this as long as the damage from the set increased by CP, weapon damage, max stam etc)

    Go 5 hounding 5 spriggans 2 troll king or bloodspawn.You will have to go DW but it should work out fine.You can go heavy hounding if you have DW spriggans.

    Mark of the pariah might make your 3 jewelry 2 body reqs, but there's zero damage input from that set.

    2 Selene's, 5 hulking (dw), 5 pariah
    Terethea Magdalena, Breton Nightblade
    A Dark-Adapted Eye, Imperial Necromancer

    This is one setup I use in heavy and it works well. I also use, with better results, 5 hundings (heavy) 5 bone pirates. Allows me to get to around 50% crit and use shadow mundus instead of serpent for some spectacular heals. Very high stamina and same weapon damage as a DPS who wears medium armor. Literally no downsides to it as it's survivability is way higher than medium sets, same damage (more in some cases), and good sustain (albeit slightly less than a full medium build).

    This would probably be a better build but he doesn't want to farm bone pirate.So I suggest spriggans if he know how to sustain it.I'm still getting used to running DW again I hit hard I just mess up my timing with rally at times.

    Have tried any number of builds but always return to this classic setup:

    2 x Veli
    5 x Hundings
    3 x Agility
    Leki's or NMG Weapons for either damage or crit (DW) with any old bow

    Purple Impen Medium, armour
    Sharpened weapons with Damage enchants.
    Robust jewellery with Damage enchants

    I did try the Viper/Veli/Agility setup at one point and it was very effective, but felt a bit cheesy.

    Bone pirate
    Agility
    Monster set (even 1/1)
    Maelstrom weapons

    Other wise you have to go dual wield and... Meh. Bow 2h is just far superior.

    As long as he is only farming spriggan armor because the weapons took me forever hahaha.

    I run Clever Alchemist + Strenght of the Automaton and either Kra'ghs or Velireth shoulder I even switch between them.

    Nirnhorned greatsword.
    Sharp Bow

    Pop, mage light and a potion run in, cloak, one shot with onslaught.

    Do the same but then double tap Snipe from across the map from stealth.

    Hmmm cheese Hmmm

    If you want a good sustain build with good damage (and you're good at bursting at the right time)

    5 Spriggan
    5 Eternal Hunt
    2 Velidreth OR selenes OR troll king (borderline sharp cheddar build with troll king)
    MUST RUN WITH GOLD FOOD (Orzogas) AND ALL IMPEN

    This build is very sustainable and hard to target if you keep shuffle up and dodge roll on your bow bar. Also does pretty solid damage (3400) but it's really about applying dots and poison then using your burst windows.

    If you run troll king I've had 3000 health recovery and 2500 stamina recovery. But that's up to you.

    Could run 4 morag tong over 5 hunding crit is usually mitigated well in pvp impen and heavy is current meta allowing you to keep 2h and rally buff.

    I’m almost certain it’s against forum rules to necro threads. It also confuses newer players who might now be scouring outdated info.

    In the spirit of helping your fellow gamer, perhaps you should message the op directly, next time.

    Yea, that's a stupid rule. Whoever thought of "Necro thread" should go rot into a hole next to the people who side against late posts. Who cares if someone responds months or years later. New players shouldn't want outdated information anyway or should learn how to correctly comprehend the information in the order in which it is given. That makes for crappy and outdated characters that then don't succeed only to rage quit. Let's go ZOS, get with it. You want people to play your game. So let us help you. Stop with this necro post nonsense.

    Now, did someone say stamina Nightblade? See: Shadowscale.
