Leader Boards for Guilds similar to DAOC

I really miss the guild boards that DAOC had... Camelot Herald was awesome.. It promoted guild unity. I still remember checking the herald to see where my guild ranked.
Currently there is no leaderboards for guilds in this game its all individual. Why not? Guilds promote gameplay and keep people playing. My friends are the #1 reason I have
played this game for 3 years now with no prolonged breaks .... Individualizing is important but there is nothing that acknowledges group play which is more important in the long run...

I keep thinking that this feature is coming but it never does... Currently you can have 5 guilds... I like this feature but it does have negative effects. One of the negatives is that limits the interaction of the community imo. I think it also hurts guild pride ... We need to push guilds playing with friends ... this greatly increases the enjoyment of this game or any game.....

It might be because of the five guild system, how would the game know which guild you're doing the work for without you managing it (and potentially abusing/messing it up)

It's a nice idea, maybe ZOS can make it so AP earned while wearing the tabard counts towards the total AP for that guild so there is no confusing with 5 guilds.

it is a nice idea your right but it's too late most guild have died or left the game

LOL top 25 Guilds, are you kidding me? There are like 10 NA/PC guilds total in each faction on the busiest server. We tried to make a list of DC guilds on all the servers we came up with 10.

Here are your top 10 DC Guilds, in no particular order, for all servers (Excluding Blackwater Blade).

Points for guilds holding their keeps in Cyrodiil, DAoC also promoted guilds responding to keep attacks to defend their holdings.

Even just being able click on a campaign and tell what guilds are active during the campaign period would be awesome, I hadn't considered things like capture stats and group size as well -- that would be amazing.

I know ZOS seems to make a lot of decisions based on analytics collected on various parts of the game. I wonder if they collect some of these stats already?

This - I think any tracking should be done with whatever guild tabard is equipped.

To me mmo's are team based games.. we should have these teams recognized... trying to build up the guild system in this game is important for longevity.....but it also creates rivalries which in turn make the game so much more interesting....

This was awsome to look at back in the DAOC days....
They also did Ratio AP that depended on the number of players you had participating
so many things you could do with this ....

Would be awesome but I don't know if zos likes this kind of thing. Sort of like how the API doesn't let us see each others DPS in PVE, same probably applies to K/D or win/loss stats etc. They avoid having systems that display how bad people are at the game.

Seeing as there are already individual leader boards I doubt that is ZOS' reasoning. Even if it was it would be trivial for a guild to simply elect to not participate through a setting.

I think the most likely reason for ZOS to disregard/ignore this sort of request is their is monetary gain (crown store sales) for their additional labor. You really don't see them adding much these days which doesn't have a dollar price. But who knows, if some of this data is already collected it may well be a trivial amount of work to add it to the interface.

Yeah true. There probably aren't enough active guilds left to really make much of a leaderboard though, and the majority would probably have really bad stats tbh, even though they probably contribute a lot to the campaign.
