Stupid Tamriel without borders make the game really overcrowded: hordes of AFK/casting AOE people is everywhere, this is not the TES game.

It's only crowded in specific areas like the start of todays event. Overall though it's not crowded at all with how big Tamriel is.

I miss my quiet Gold zones. But mostly I'm just sick of Pop-locks in Cyrodiil.

Other than Dueling in Towns, the more players the better I say. Sure, it is nicer to do some things with less people around, but I like the world feeling like it is alive.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

MOST OF THE TIME just right. BUT -- during these festivals and celebrations, the specific areas become WAY too overcrowded.

Hew's Bane was a hellhole with so many people hogging everything, swooping in to steal nodes out from under you, generally behaving badly; no challenge at all to beat bosses because there were like THOUSANDS of people whacking them all at the same time.

Jester's Quests this morning in Daggerfall I thought the overcrowding was kind of appropriate and fun -- until I got kicked 'cuz the server couldn't handle it all.

Too god damn many humans equals a significant reduction in fun -- also MUCH longer load times.

After One Tamriel I would have voted overcrowded. I had to avoid a few cities because of it. But since they instanced things a bit more and I'm able to shop without problems in Rawl'kha again, it feels back to being just right again. My only gripe now is the dueling in cities as that occasionally still causes issues.

Hew's Bane I didn't really think was that bad. I had to go a few times for Master Writs during the anniversary event, and as I was running across the land to the appropriate crafting station I found all kinds of nodes and plants that were unpicked. Sure, I saw a few people, but it wasn't as bad as I had expected.

The only time it really seems to be a problem is when there are events with one starting location. Even with the current Jester event, with three possible start points, things are pretty bad on the first day. But at least they did put a starting location in each zone this time.

I don't feel the game is overcrowded (wow that's a good problem to have - sign of a healthy game) but I do feel like the servers are more and more stressed.

I've never dealt with lag and random logouts like I have lately. (I don't PvP - this is in regular zones - even my house).

I'm growing very tired of entering delves only to find a cleared path throughout the delve. I did the Angof quest in Glenumbra earlier. Didn't have to kill a single enemy sans Angof.

It's an MMORPG the more the better with out crowds and loads of people there is no point to the game. I love seeing all the people active and in one spot. Nothing is more depressing then watching the game you loved and played for years become a ghost town. Anyone remember the super dead gold and silver zones from vet ranks days just horrible to see 2 people in a zone.

It is personal preference. Some like crowds others do not.

Personally because I am supposed to be an adventurer would rather see less people outside of the towns. Sure it is great to have a town feel populated but, in the wilderness would very much prefer to have far less people unless grouped up. Less people in delves and so on as it is hard to feel as though you are an adventure type person if you have a whole horde of people with you. It is hard to even imagine you are in the wilderness if the whole landscape has been wiped clean of all adversaries or potential adversaries. Seriously if the goats, sheep, deer, snakes, frogs, rabbits and as well as any mobs are dead then there are to many people about.

So cities seeing people is fantastic I should see folks there. Outside not so much.

Only during the first couple weeks of a new contents, i.e. dlc, festivals, and also where there's a farm group (or zerg, is that what people are calling it) like bombarding dolmens or killing bears and dreugh and such. Oh, also, at the Undaunted Enclave and at a main wayshrine of a major city's capital like Mournhold, Belkarth, Elden Root, Reaper's March and such. Otherwise, it is quite barren elsewhere. Especially, when doing rounds of treasure chests hunting, you go everywhere and even off the beaten path. So, you may run into one or two others running about.

When they have double drops in small zones like Hew's Bane, yes it's overcrowded.

In general, no. It's fine most of the time.

As a relatively new player who has spent time in MMOs with maybe 15% of this game's population, I think it's just the right level. I like the fact that the cities are alive with people crafting, fighting, questing, dancing or just riding through on their weird mounts. I like riding through the wilderness and occasionally passing one or two people on their own quests, or (as happened last night) following a random group of riders down unfamiliar paths because we're all doing the same (festival) quest. I like the fact that I'll enter a Public Dungeon and occasionally become part of an informal group battling enemies and bosses.

I haven't had any server issues (yet) so it suits me just fine!

I do sort of miss that. Was so much fun having large amounts of each faction roaming the city streets battling _everything_
